Anyone who puts any amount of faith and trust in the things of this world is nothing but a fool. Things are temporary and do not last; they deteriorate and waste away. Sadly, people will let us down and hurt us. Even those closest to us, whom we should be able to trust fully, will fail. They may not do it intentionally or with malice or evil intent, but people are imperfect, and we all have flaws and failures.

That’s why placing your trust in anyone or anything other than Jesus Christ is a fool’s errand and a recipe for disaster. Christ, even while we were still sinners, gave Himself up for us. He willingly went to the cross, suffered and died because He thought you and I were worth it. Do you know of anyone else who has done anything like that for you? Neither do I.

In a live performance in front of hundreds, Passion plays and sings “He Who is to Come,” a beautiful praise and worship song about Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, His resurrection and His impending return. As the song eloquently articulates, Christ is the only one worthy of such glory, honor and praise.

Because of Christ’s ultimate and loving sacrifice and resurrection, any of us can be forgiven of our sins and have the opportunity at salvation. We have a future because of Jesus Christ. He freely offers His forgiveness and love to anyone who earnestly seeks Him and calls upon His name.

The music from TobyMac shows that these personal feelings are universal. “I call it the good, the bad, the ugly of my life. Those just end up on the pages of my lyric notebook,” he says. “We’re all facing some relationships going great, and some relationships that are struggling, and there are deep valleys. Thank You Lord - Ephesians 5:19-20 – November 20, 1984 Thanksgiving is one of the bigger holidays of the year. It was originally a time of the Pilgrims and early settlers of America to thank God for an abundant harvest. It is celebrated by family get-togethers and reflecting on the good things that happened in our lives. Many of us realize that it is good to thank God for our blessings and not just thank other people. We do not have to wait for Thanksgiving to be thankful to God for all that he has done for us. If you think about it, you have so many blessings to be grateful for. It would be good to contemplate all that God has done in your life and thank him for it. In Ephesians 5: 19-20, Paul encourages us to 19 Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We should always give thanks. Thank You, Lord!

Anthem Lights turned in a stunning a cappella cover performance of the song “Goodness of God.” The talented vocalists fully displayed their musical skills with their beautiful rendition of the beloved praise and worship tune. Everyone loves, or at the very least, enjoys music. Have you ever met someone who does not appreciate beautiful sounds of some style and genre? Me neither. How boring would life be without the accompaniment of music and sound? That doesn’t sound (pun intended) like a good time for anyone.

While everyone can appreciate the many sounds humans make using a variety of instruments, not every sound or style is for everyone. Some prefer softer, slower music, while others like their music to be more upbeat and with a faster tempo. Whatever your preference, there is bound to be a sound for you.

However, while the best music stylings may be up for debate, the best instrument is not. Without question, the most beautiful and powerful instrument is the human voice. It’s the only one created by God Himself. In a clip posted on YouTube, the guys from Anthem Lights use their voices to sing an unforgettable, stunning version of “Goodness of God.” This is a rendition that you’ll want to listen to repeatedly.

“Goodness of God” is a popular tune that is near and dear to many people's hearts. The lyrics tell of the Lord’s mercy, grace, faithfulness, and unfailing, never-ending love.

“All my life You have been faithful
And all my life You have been so, so good
With every breath that I am able
Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God”

Those are words that every one of us could sing as a testimony about the Lord’s protection, guidance and love in our lives. He deserves all praise and worship for what He has done and is doing and will do in our lives.
