I was inspired to write this song while I was pregnant with my second child. The song was also inspired by a friend who waited a long time for the blessing of having a child. This song is to relate to not only the love of parents, grandparents, etc. for their children or for adopted children, but also to show the love of God for His own. I believe God often uses the love we have for our children to show us a glimse of just how much He loves us...
