Brooke Ligertwood Chilling ‘King Of Kings’ Performance

One talented young woman, Brooke Ligertwood, gave an emotional and stunning performance of a beloved tune about the Lord Jesus Christ.

The world is a lost place filled with sinners who have turned their backs on God and His teachings. Despite that willful disobedience, God still showed wholly undeserving love, mercy and grace to us. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to Earth as a sacrifice.

Christ willingly went to the cross, enduring a horrible and agonizing death. He took our place, and because of His death and resurrection, we have a chance. We have the opportunity for everlasting life with Him.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Brooke performs “King of Kings.” It’s a song of praise and worship, thanking the Lord for the gift of forgiveness and salvation. He is worthy of all honor, glory and praise.

“Praise the Father, praise the Son
Praise the Spirit, three in one
God of glory, Majesty
Praise forever to the King of Kings”

Like Brooke’s performance, the lyrics are beautiful. Those words are enough to cause even the most stoic person to become emotional. The song's words detail how much Christ’s entrance into the world immediately and dramatically altered human history forever.

The opening verse mentions how much Christ changed everything for everyone. Without Him, all creation was without hope, sitting in darkness and living in sin and shame. But as the song states, praise God that Christ did not avoid the cross. He took on the cross and the punishment for our sakes.

There is nothing to do but praise and worship Him for what He has done. Regardless, there is nothing that we could ever say or do that would even come close to earning salvation. It’s a gift that is offered to all freely. It’s a gift that has changed lives and continues to do so today.

Christ’s blood, shed upon the cross, wipes away all sin.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Bluegrass Family Performs ‘Jesus, King Of Heaven’

An unbelievably talented family of bluegrass musicians, The Petersens, performed a sweet and lovely tune about the life, love and mercy of Jesus Christ.

The world is an often bleak and dreary place without any hope. But Jesus Christ, born to a virgin in a humble stable, was sent to Earth to deliver hope for all. His birth and later, His death and resurrection made everlasting life with Him possible for all of humanity. The blood He shed on the cross covers all sin and restores sinners to a right relationship with the Father.

In a clip posted on YouTube, The Petersens perform “Jesus, King of Heaven.” It’s a beautifully written piece of music about the Savior – his birth, miracles, death and the hope offered in the name of Jesus Christ.

In the video, six musicians lend their God-given talent to the performance, making a thoroughly enjoyable and pleasurable listening experience. Even those not into bluegrass or country music will still appreciate the lyrics about the risen Savior.

“Jesus, Jesus, King of Heaven
What have I to do with Thee?
Loving friend and precious Savior
You mean everything to me”

The Petersens consistently provide stunning performances, singing about the Lord Jesus Christ and how He gave all and changed everything. But they did change things up a bit for their performance of “Jesus, King of Heaven.”

Normally, one of the musically gifted young women will lend her voice, singing the lyrics to whatever song they happen to be singing. However, this time, their mother, Karen Petersen, showed off her vocal talents, singing lead on the tune.

This performance from The Petersens is one that you’ll likely find yourself coming back to repeatedly. The lyrics are a terrific reminder of how much Christ gave for a bunch of lost and broken sinners who had turned their backs on him.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Lauren Daigle's Beautiful Cover Of ‘Away In A Manger’

The biggest name in Christian music, Lauren Daigle, has delivered a stunning rendition of a classic Christmas tune about the birth of Jesus Christ, “Away in a Manger.”

Christmas is the season to celebrate and honor the birth of Jesus Christ, the Savior. God sent His only Son to Earth to save man from sin. With that precious baby boy's birth, all those years ago came hope for a broken, sinful and defeated world.

To provide hope for a bunch of sinners, not only did God send His son to Earth, but He was placed in likely the humblest situation possible. Christ was born by a lowly virgin in a stable surrounded by barnyard animals. There wasn’t even enough room for Mary, Joseph and Jesus in the inn, so they were confined to the area where the animals reside.

Following His entrance into the world, no crib or bed was available for the newborn child. Instead, that precious baby boy was placed in a manger. None of those settings or accommodations screams royalty or king, but thank God that He willingly humbled himself for our sakes.

In a clip placed on YouTube, Lauren sings that familiar but oh-so-beautiful tune “Away in a Manger.” No other Christmas song more perfectly illustrates how greatly Christ humbled Himself, bringing Himself to our level to offer forgiveness and salvation.

“Away in a manger
No crib for a bed
The little Lord Jesus
Lay down His sweet head”

The tune also points to the peace, calm and tranquility that accompanied the child. The lyrics state that the newborn was silently asleep on the hay in the manager. The child did not even cry. As the Bible mentions in the Old Testament book of Isaiah, He is the Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Pentatonix, Andrea, Virginia and Matteo Bocelli ‘Do You Heart What I Hear?’

A handful of music superstars – Pentatonix, Andrea, Matteo and Virginia Bocelli – joined forces, bringing their immense musical talents together for a stunning rendition of a Christmas classic, “Do You Hear What I Hear?”

Christmas without celebrating and honoring the birth of Jesus Christ is empty and meaningless. Christ, as the saying goes, is the reason for the entire season. The birth of the precious baby boy in that Bethlehem stable, surrounded by those barnyard animals, brought hope to a lost and broken world.

Pentatonix, Andrea Bocelli and his two gifted children beautifully performed “Do You Hear What I Hear?” It’s one of the many Christmas tunes that recognizes and celebrates how Christ’s birth immediately changed everything for all people.

“A Child, a Child shivers in the cold
Let us bring him silver and gold
Let us bring him silver and gold”

The vocal performances from all involved are outstanding. The voices blend perfectly, creating an enjoyable, upbeat and catchy cover. The amount of talent on one recording is awe-inspiring. Others who commented on the YouTube link wholeheartedly agreed.

“Bocelli and Pentatonix together. That’s a dream collaboration. They all always been in my Christmas playlists, but never together,” one person wrote.

“So many beautiful angelic voices. Millions of people worldwide need to hear you all together. We need the joy to fill us from your voices,” someone else added

As the song’s lovely lyrics indicate, all instantly understood that something had dramatically changed following Christ’s birth. Everyone from the lowly shepherd tending his flock in the field to the king in the palace could sense a difference. Even the animals and the wind knew the Son of God had finally arrived on Earth, according to the song.

“Do You Hear What I Hear?” is a tune of praise and worship that recognizes the significance of Christ’s arrival in the world. He lowered and humbled Himself, being born in a manger for our sakes, that we could experience everlasting life with Him.

Praise God for his mercy, love and grace!

Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

The Petersens’ Lovely Performance Of ‘Mary, Did You Know?’

An unbelievably talented family turned in a simply stunning performance of the beloved Christmas song, “Mary, Did You Know?”

The biblical Christmas story is one in which God demonstrates his astounding love, mercy and grace for humanity. He sent His one and only Son to Earth, born to a virgin in a stable, to save man from his sins. Praise God that the newborn King is here!

That story of Christ’s birth is full of miracles and love. Not only that, but it’s also one in which several people, specifically Mary and Joseph, displayed a massive amount of faith, relying solely on God’s guidance and direction. Mary and Joseph were placed in a situation in which they must have been scared, confused and full of questions.

Even though an angel of the Lord appeared to Mary and told her what was to come and who she was to give birth to, when did she fully grasp and understand the significance of her firstborn child? That’s a question that one popular Christmas tune poses.

The Petersens, in a clip posted on YouTube, play and sing this song, which is essentially a series of questions to that lowly, humble virgin. The expertise on their various instruments is apparent, but it’s the beautiful, awe-inspiring vocal performances that sets this rendition apart from other covers.

“Mary, did you know that your baby boy
Would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know that your baby boy
Has come to make you new?”

Even those not fans of country or bluegrass music will still be able to appreciate the loads of talent and skill contained in this performance. Those young people are immensely gifted, seemingly pulling off their excellent cover of “Mary, Did You Know?” with relative ease and little effort.

Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government has been placed in his hands; and he has been named Wise Guide, Strong God, Father Forever, Prince of Peace.”

Lauren Daigle Jazzy ‘What Child Is This?’ Cover

One of the biggest names in Christian music Lauren Daigle has turned in a delightful and jazzy cover of a beloved Christmas tune about the newborn King, “What Child is This?”

Christmas without recognizing and honoring the birth of Jesus Christ is empty. All the meticulously wrapped presents, delicious food and time spent with family and friends are meaningless if Christ is not at the center of the celebration. That precious baby boy, born to a virgin in a lowly and humble stable, brought joy and hope to a lost and broken world in desperate need of it.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Lauren Daigle performs “What Child is This?” While it’s a tune that most are likely more than familiar with, Lauren takes the song in a more modern direction by giving it a jazzy sound.

Like the song’s title, the tune's opening verse asks about the identity of the precious baby born to Mary. Who exactly is this child that is sleeping on his mother’s lap? What child could cause angels to greet him with sweet anthems?

The simple but beautiful and memorable chorus answers all those questions. There is no doubt or confusion about the child's identity, according to the song’s chorus. This child is the one who was sent to save man from his sins.

“This, this is Christ, the King
Whom shepherds guard and angels sing
Haste, haste to bring Him laud
The Babe, the Son of Mary”

Praise God for sending His one and only Son to Earth to save a bunch of sinners. Christ changed everything for all people, forever and always!

Lauren is such a talented young woman, able to seemingly sing any kind of music with relative ease. Once again, with this recording, the music superstar shows she possesses a wealth of God-given musical talent.

Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Choir Stuns With A Cappella ‘This Christmas’ Performance

A group of musically gifted young men turned in a stunning vocal performance of a beloved and classic Christmas tune.

The Christmas season is the most joyous time of year. There are presents, food and plenty of time spent with family and friends. What is there not to love? Also, there is no shortage of Christmas tunes. Every genre, style and taste are well represented in festive, holiday songs. There are the classics from Bing Crosby and Elvis Presley and other more modern hits from people like Kelly Clarkson and Mariah Carey.

One Christmas song that is always heard every holiday season is “This Christmas.” The song has been recorded dozens of times over the years. However, the wide-ranging familiarity does not seem to have diminished its popularity.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a group of young men gave a lovely and dazzling a cappella performance of the song about the joy and wonder of the Christmas season. Their pitch-perfect voices and on-point harmonies are an ideal match for the song’s lyrics, helping to create a pleasant and thoroughly enjoyable listening experience.

“Presents and cards are here
My world is filled with cheer and you
This Christmas”

In keeping with the lyrics about a happy holiday gathering, the video shows two dozen or so people crowding together in a room, anxiously awaiting gifts from Santa. One of the party’s attendants, who dons the iconic red suit and hat, hands out one gift after another.

All the gifts are received with looks of extreme delight and happiness. Everyone looks as if they can hardly wait to rip open the present to view the package’s contents. They essentially look like little children at Christmastime.

Even after opening the gifts, their happiness and joy do not lessen even a little. All appear to be having a wonderful time, simply enjoying everyone’s company.

Isaiah 7:14 “For this cause the Lord himself will give you a sign; a young woman is now with child, and she will give birth to a son, and she will give him the name Immanuel.”
