‘How Great Thou Art’ Chilling Brothers Of The Heart Performance

An unbelievably talented group of musicians – Brothers of the Heart – once again have displayed their God-given gift for sound with a performance of a beloved and classic hymn, “How Great Thou Art.”

Hymns, even though they may be hundreds of years old in some cases, still deserve to be listened to and played regularly. Tunes like “Great is Thy Faithfulness,” “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” and “Amazing Grace” are timeless and filled with so much truth.

Another of those classic hymns is “How Great Thou Art.” In a clip posted on YouTube, Brothers of the Heart turned in an outstanding and awe-inspiring vocal performance, singing about the magnificence, righteousness and wonder of the good Lord above.

Others who commented on the YouTube link mentioned how much they loved and appreciated the group’s performance of “How Great Thou Art.”

“Absolutely precious and love this group, Brothers of the Heart,” one person wrote.

“Absolutely beautiful. You can feel the presents (sic) of the Lord,” a second individual added.

“They love and believe in the words of this song. Truly inspirational. Love these magnificent men so much. It brings tears to my eyes listening to these beautiful men sing this beautiful hymn!!” another person commented.

The hymn reminds listeners about God’s undeserving love and mercy. He sent His son to Earth, whose destiny was the cross. But instead of turning away from that agony and torture, Christ willingly went to the cross, bleeding and dying to wash away the sins of man.

“Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art”

The hymn’s chorus is simple but utterly beautiful and memorable. Christ, because of His sacrifice, dying and suffering on our behalf, is worthy of all honor, glory and praise.

How great thou art, indeed!

Revelation 4:11 “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for you have created all things, and for your pleasure they are and were created.”

Jamie Grace ‘Just Be’ Official Lyric Video

An unbelievably talented musician, Jamie Grace, turned in a stunning performance of a tune about being calm, peaceful and in the moment.

The world is a tumultuous and disorderly location, where it often seems chaos reigns supreme. Everyday living can place an endless number of responsibilities and tasks on one’s shoulders. Most remain in a constant frenzied state, hoping and rushing to accomplish everything on their day’s to-do list.

Living in such a way can and does make achieving any moment of peace a seemingly insurmountable and impossible feat. Jamie, in her song “Just Be,” shows she understands most are weary, worn down by heavy burdens and in great need of peace.

“Settle down weary heart
You’ve been down this road before
You worry yourself until you can’t breathe
Learn to let go and just be”

Jamie’s song is a beautiful and much-needed reminder of how badly this world and the people in it desperately need healing and peace. A lot of people are weighed down with burdens and stresses. They may feel as if the weight of the world resides on their shoulders.

This is no way to live. Being constantly weighed down with stress and anxiety will only result in any number of disastrous outcomes. But sadly, this is the reality for way too many people today.

However, there is One who provides a peace that surpasses all understanding. The Bible advises all to cast their burdens upon Him, and He shall sustain them.

Everyday living and the stresses and worries that come with it are enough to cause even those thought to be the most mentally fit and prepared to break down. But there is help available. We don’t have to go through this life alone. He loves, cares and has a plan for all. The Prince of Peace will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are troubled and weighted down with care, and I will give you rest.”

Benjamin William Hastings ‘O Praise The Name (Anastasis)’ Live Performance

One talented young man, Benjamin William Hastings, turned in a chilling and moving performance of a beloved praise and worship tune, “O Praise the Name (Anastasis).”

The world is a lost and broken place, full of people hurting, struggling and living in sin and shame. Because of our loving and merciful God, that doesn’t have to be the case. There is hope. That hope, forgiveness and salvation is found in the name of Jesus.

As the Bible states, God sent His only begotten Son so that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Christ willingly went to the cross, bleeding and enduring an agonizing death on our behalf. Days later, He rose from the grave, winning victory over sin and death.

Praise God!

In the clip posted on YouTube, Benjamin sings the tune about Christ’s love and sacrifice that changed everything for all of humanity, now and forever. It’s a beautifully written song, with its lyrics likely causing even the most stoic person to shed a tear or two.

“O praise the name of the Lord our God
O praise His name forevermore
For endless days we will sing Your Praise
Oh, Lord, Oh Lord our God”

The song’s first verse details how Christ went to the cross, bled and died. Following his wholly undeserving and painful death upon the cross. The second verse adds that His lifeless body was placed in a tomb. But praise God, that is not where the story or the song ends!

In the third verse, the Son of God arose from the grave. The victory was complete. Christ had done what only He could do. He had paid our debt. He went through it all for you and me.

Throughout the clip, the crowd sings along with Benjamin as they raise their hands in worship and praise. It’s a beautiful sight and sound to watch and see so many people worshiping the one true King!

Hebrews 13:15 “Let us then make offerings of praise to God at all times through him, that is to say, the fruits of lips giving witness to his name.”
