Lorrie Morgan's Moving Performance Of ‘A Picture Of Me (Without You)' On Larry’s Country Diner

Country music singer Lorrie Morgan gave a chilling performance of her tune “A Picture of Me (Without You)” on Larry’s Country Diner.

Musicians write and sing about a variety of topics. They may cover political issues they are passionate about or some current event or topic. But without a doubt, the most covered topic in music is love. That could be a tune about a new and exciting relationship or a deep, committed relationship where the two people have been together for decades. Sadly, plenty of songs detail the end of a relationship and the pain because of it.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Lorrie performs “A Picture of Me. (Without You)” It’s a song about a romantic relationship that has ended, and she is not handling the breakup well. In fact, the entire song is about how heartbroken she is over the relationship ending.

“Imagine a world where no music was playing
And think of a church with nobody praying
Have you ever looked up at a sky with no blue
Then you’ve seen a picture of me without you”

That opening verse certainly qualifies Lorrie’s song as a break-up tune. Who would want to experience any of those things? All of them sound terrible. Who would want to experience a world in which music was nonexistent? A sky without any shade of blue? No way!

But the worst yet has to be going into a church where prayer is not taking place. Prayer is essential for a walk and a relationship with the Almighty.

That opening verse and the entire song are heartbreaking. But it is well-written and helps to convey the deep emotional pain she must have been feeling. No one would ever want to go through any of those things.

But thankfully, there is One who provides comfort to all who are hurting and in pain. Christ is faithful, always loving and never leaves or forsakes us in our time of need.

Praise God!

Isaiah 41:10 “Have no fear, for I am with you; do not be looking about in trouble, for I am your God; I will give you strength, yes, I will be your helper; yes, my true right hand will be your support.”

Wesley Pritchard ‘When I Get Carried Away’ Live Performance

One immensely talented singer, Wesley Pritchard, provided the lead vocals on a moving, upbeat and catchy performance of “When I Get Carried Away,” a tune about walking past those pearly gates and entering Heaven.

Time, as the old saying goes, waits for no man. Time is constantly moving, which means that every day and every second that passes brings us closer to the end of our allotted time on Earth. That may be a morbid and unpleasant thought, but it doesn’t have to be that way.

There are a lot of unknowns surrounding death. But for Christians, death does not have to be something to be feared. Jesus Christ, with His death on the cross and resurrection, defeated sin and death. He offers all salvation and everlasting life with Him.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Wesley and a group of other talented vocalists sing about that joyous and celebratory moment when they enter Heaven and hear their name called. This is a time that all Christians, believers and followers of Christ eagerly look forward to, being in His presence.

“I’m gonna let the glory roll when the roll is called in Glory
I’m gonna get beside myself when I get beside the King that day
I’m gonna have the time of my life when the time of my life is over
I’m gonna get carried away when I get carried away”

What a beautiful song that perfectly captures the joy and the happiness that will be felt by all that day. What a wonderful and glorious day it will be when we are reunited with loved ones who have passed on before us.

But to top it off, we’ll be in the presence of the one true King: Jesus Christ. It’s almost too much to comprehend and imagine!

John 14:3 “And if I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and will take you to be with me, so that you may be where I am.”

Celtic Thunder Chilling Rendition Of ‘All Out Of Love’ By Air Supply

One member of the incredibly talented group Celtic Thunder displayed his stunning voice with his awe-inspiring and pitch-perfect cover of Air Supply’s classic “All Out of Love.”

The 1980s was a decade in which musicians like Whitney Houston, George Michael, Madonna and Michael Jackson dominated. It seemed that whatever tune or album those people released became an instant hit, rocking to the top of the charts. “Beat It,” “Faith,” “How Will I Know,” and “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” are now classics and still widely played.

However, other songs were able to break through in the 80s and become hits. They have also since become classic and periodically get the cover treatment from other musicians. One of those songs is “All Out of Love” by Air Supply. From the song’s opening notes, everyone instantly recognizes it. Seconds later, you’re likely to find yourself humming or singing along.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Celtic Thunder gives a dazzling vocal performance of “All Out of Love.” The young man’s voice is so incredibly unique, unlike anything you’ve heard before.

“I’m all out of love, I’m so lost without you
I know you were right believing for so long
I’m all out of love, what am I without you?
I can’t be too late to say that I was so wrong”

The young man’s voice is spectacular. It’s so clear, strong and distinct. It sounds like a blend between Irish and country, something that would likely be hard or nearly impossible to duplicate or replicate. Given the uniqueness of his voice, anything he would sing would immediately become his own.

The audience lets the young performer know how they feel about his cover of the beloved 1980s track. They give him a well-deserved thunderous and rousing round of applause.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Siblings Stunning Performance of 'Amazing Grace'

This trio of siblings will astound you with their rendition of the famous hymn, Amazing Grace.

These college students are not only related but are committed to making music together and sharing it with the world.

Amazing Grace is based on a poem from 1772 that was written by a man named John Newton in Olney, England. It was published in 1779 and is now one of the most well-known hymns in today’s world.

The song became more popular in the United States during the second Great Awakening in the early 19th century and can now be found in churches nationwide as well as in pop culture.

The version we know today was set to a tune known as “New Britain” by a composer, William Walker in the 1830s.

As you read the lyrics, you can see how the hymn is all about how God has saved the writer. How he was once lost but God found him and saved him. Amazing Grace is about the grace of God, and these words say it all.

“’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!”

So many people in the comments talk about why this hymn is so important to them. One commenter said, “So beautifully sung. This was the song my sister and I sang at both  our father's and our mother's funerals. It was their favorite hymn. Your accapella version is stunning. Blessings to you and yours.” Others talk about the family singing together, as one commenter states, “Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! There is no harmony better than family harmony - in song and in life!”

“For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast.” - Ephesians 2:8-9

Pat Barrett Moving ‘No Body’ Acoustic Performance

A gifted singer-songwriter, Pat Barrett, turned in a stunning acoustic performance of ‘No Body,’ a tune about the love, forgiveness and mercy of Jesus Christ.

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. The world is a broken and fallen place. It's full of hurting individuals seeking the tiniest, most minuscule sign of hope. Thankfully, there is One who brings hope along with love, mercy and forgiveness.

Jesus Christ willingly went to and died on the cross, taking the sins of the world upon Himself. He was beaten, tortured and spat upon for you and me. But, as Pat’s beautiful lyrics eloquently state, the story does not end with Christ’s death on the cross.

That tomb is empty, and that stone has been rolled away. He has won the victory over sin, shame and death. Praise God, Christ is a risen and living King.

“No enemy can hold You down
‘Cause there’s no body in the grave now
One head gets to wear that crown
‘Cause there’s no body in the grave now”

Pat’s lovely tune is one full of truth of love. He is using his God-given talent to spread the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.

While all are sinners and have willingly disregarded the Lord, turning away from Him, there is still hope for all. Because of Christ’s loving sacrifice, all have an opportunity, a chance at everlasting life with Him.

As the Bible states, anyone who confesses with their mouth and believes in their heart that Christ is Lord and has been raised from the dead will be saved. This gift of forgiveness and salvation is available to all who call upon His name.

There is no other way but Jesus Christ. Those who accept Christ in their heart and love are a new creation thanks to the power of the blood that was spilled upon the cross that day.

1 John 1:7  “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleans us from all sin.”

Peter Hollens And Choir’s Beautiful Rendition Of ‘Nearer, My God, To Thee’

A handful of unbelievably gifted vocalists, which includes Peter Hollens, joined forces, bringing their God-given musical talents together for a stunning and angelic performance of the beloved hymn, “Nearer, My God, to Thee.”

Hymns, while they may be old, hundreds of years in some cases, are still beautiful, moving pieces of music. Those ancient tunes are full of truth, telling of God’s magnificent love, abounding grace and limitless righteousness. No matter how many times we hear “Victory in Jesus,” “It is Well with My Soul” or “Amazing Grace,” those beautifully written lyrics still cause an emotional reaction.

In a clip posted on YouTube, musician Peter Hollens and a choir made up of skilled young men performed a dazzling and outstanding version of “Near, My God, to Thee.”

“Still all my song shall be
Nearer, my God, to Thee
Nearer, my God, to Thee
Nearer, my God, to Thee”

The talent and skill present on this track is incredible, almost overwhelming. The expert and stunning use of their God-given instruments – their voices – is hard to comprehend. All musicians move their voices up and down effortlessly, showing their magnificent musical gifts.

In addition to the angelic vocal performances, the song’s arrangement is also noticeable. Some sing in English while others perform in Latin, but somehow it works. It is literal music to the ears of listeners. One will likely have to listen to this song and watch this video several times to grasp the talent and skill involved in this recording.

Others who commented on the YouTube video’s link also expressed their delight at the musicians’ stunning performance.

“Omg I love this the harmony is so beautiful and the tone and the pitch is amazing,” one person posted.

“Wow just WOW…Soo Heavenly Beautiful and Amazing!!!! Absolutely LOVE it!!!” another individual added

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

‘Rain In The Rearview’ Uplifting Anne Wilson Song Official Music Video

The incredibly talented Anne Wilson, one of the biggest names in Christian music, has released the official music video for her song “Rain in the Rearview.”

Pain, heartache and struggle are all, unfortunately, parts of life. Everyone will go through dark, painful periods during their time on Earth. It’s a near impossibility to go through this life unscathed. Situations and circumstances will leave us battered and bruised, but because of the love and hope of Jesus Christ, we can rest assured that the sun is shining somewhere and this dark valley is only temporary.

Anne’s official music video for “Rain in the Rearview”, posted on YouTube, begins with the singer and songwriter jumping into a vehicle and starting a journey down a country road. However, Anne encounters unpleasant weather. The sky opens up and lets loose a torrential downpour.

“When the storm rolls in, and the sky won’t quit crying
And you’ve lost more tears than you thought you could ever lose
Oh, I swear somewhere out there, the sun is somewhere shining
So, drive, baby, drive, baby, drive ‘til it shines on you
And leave the rain in the rearview”

But instead of turning back and cutting her journey short, Anne soldiers on, going straight through the storm. She knows on the other side of the storm, the sun is shining. While she understands her current travel conditions are less than optimal, giving up was never an option.

Life is a continual series of events and circumstances. Some will be pleasant, and others not so much. Everyone will experience storms, hardships and trials. But even during these uncomfortable and painful instances, Jesus Christ is still in control and working. The present situation is, but for a moment. God has good things in store if we hold on and cling to Him.

Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and take heart, and have no fear of them: for it is the Lord your God who is going with you; he will not take away his help for you.”

‘What Are We Waiting For?’ For King + Country Upbeat Gregatron Remix

One of the biggest and most popular duos in Christian music, For King + Country, has released an updated version of their hit single, “What Are We Waiting For?”

Most people want to make a positive difference and impact the world around them. However, those same people will claim they aren’t sure where to start or what to do. The world is a lost and broken place. People are hurting and struggling all around us. There are needs literally everywhere.

Christians are to be the hands and feet of Christ by showing our fellow man love and kindness. A simple and seemingly insignificant act of kindness could change someone’s day and possibly life. So, the question remains: what are we waiting for?

The popular and talented brother duo posted an updated dance version of their massive hit “What Are We Waiting For?” on their YouTube channel. This new version of their hit song is labeled as the “Gregatron Remix.”

“What are we praying for?
What are we saving for?
What if we could be the light that no one could ignore?
What are we waiting for?”

The song has become even catchier than the original with the added dance beats and increased tempo. This one will surely get stuck in your head. You’ll find yourself humming this tune hours after you last heard it.

We all have limited time on Earth, and no one is promised tomorrow. Our act of kindness and showing someone Christlike love may be the only way to reach someone and expose them to Jesus. We may be the only way someone hears or learns about His message of love, mercy, grace and forgiveness.

Again, as the song points out, what are we waiting for?

Luke 10:2 “Then he said to them, ‘The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray, therefore, to the Lord of the harvest, that he may send out laborers into his harvest.”

Goodman Revival ‘I Wouldn’t Take Nothing For My Journey Now’ Lyric Video

A group of unbelievably talented vocalists, the Goodman Revival, turned in an upbeat, energetic and stunning performance of ‘I Wouldn’t Take Nothing For My Journey Now.”

Everyday living can be a stressful and overwhelming experience. Most people live busy and hurried lives, full of distractions and temptations. Those are things that, if not careful, can easily take our eyes off Jesus Christ and lead us off the straight and narrow.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the group members belt out the lyrics about avoiding the temptations and pitfalls of life and keeping the focus on Christ and our ultimate destination: Heaven.

The chorus perfectly captures the song’s message about the temptations everyone faces in life but how remaining strong and committed to Christ is the only way to live life.

“Well, I wouldn’t take nothing for my journey now
Gotta make it to Heaven somehow
Though the devil tempt me and tried to turn me around
He’s offered everything that’s got a name”

In addition to being a tune full of truth about God’s love and blessings and avoiding temptations, the song is incredibly catchy. It’s a track that will get stuck in your head, and you’ll find yourself humming it hours after you last heard it.

Everyone faces temptations in one form or fashion. Even Jesus Christ, during his time on Earth, was taken out into the desert and was tempted by Satan. So, even Christ understands what it means to be tempted and offered an alternative route and path from the one that leads to Heaven and eternal life.

Unfortunately, many people relent and give in to temptations that can and will ultimately destroy their lives, sending them to places they never imagined. But if we hold on and focus on Jesus Christ and the things of Heaven, everlasting life awaits.

Praise God!

1 Corinthians 10:13 “You have been put to no test but such as is common to man: and God is true, who will not let any test come on you which you are not able to undergo; but he will make with the test a way out of it, so that you may be able to go through it.”

Matthew West Lyric Video For ‘Don’t Stop Praying’

One of the biggest names in the Christian music scene, Matthew West, performs a beautiful tune about the importance of continued and earnest prayer with “Don’t Stop Praying.”

Life and all its worries, stresses and burdens can be overwhelming. Situations and circumstances throughout life will test and stretch our faith. Some may even get to the point where they feel that no matter how much they pray and reach out to God, nothing changes. They may feel their prayers are in vain and God is not listening.

However, that is not the case at all. Even when He appears absent and not listening, He is still working on our behalf. He is still in control and on the throne.

In his song “Don’t Stop Praying,” Matthew reminds followers of Christ about the importance of fervent and continued prayer. God is still capable of performing miracles. God can inject hope into a situation that appears void of hope. He can and will do miracles. We must keep praying and communicating with Him.

“Don’t stop believing
‘Cause mountains move with just a little faith
And your Father’s head every single word you’re saying
So, don’t stop praying”

What an uplifting and encouraging tune, with a message for anyone and everyone about the importance of prayer. Whether you’ve followed the Lord for decades or are a new Christian just starting on their walk with Him or maybe you don’t know the Lord at all, prayer and talking to Him will change your heart, life and situation.

Praying and communicating with the Lord is an activity Christians should be engaged in daily, even several times a day. Throughout the Bible God’s word stresses the importance of praying and bringing our needs and requests to Him.

God wants to hear from us. He listens to our prayers. As Matthew’s song mentions, God hears every word.

Philippians 4:6 “Have no cares, but in everything with prayer and praise put your request before God.”

David Döring Pan Flute Performance Of 'Sitting At The Feet Of Jesus'

David Döring brings us a beautiful performance of ‘Sitting at the Feet of Jesus’ using the pan flute. While this rendition does not include any spoken words, you can hear them in your head as you follow along with his music.

“Bless me, O my Savior, bless me
As I sit low at Thy feet
Oh, look down in love upon me
Let me see Thy face so sweet”

These beautiful lyrics are based on the scripture, Luke 10:39, “She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said” when Mary is sitting at the foot of Jesus, listening to what he has to say. The song can remind us of how important it is to listen to Jesus, even in our modern times. He is there for us, and always has something important for us to hear.

It’s always a lovely thing to learn that a song or hymn comes directly from the Bible itself. It is a great way to remember verses from the Bible and a reminder of what the Word of God has to say.

David’s performance is among the background of a gorgeous landscape as he sits on a rock performing the song. Watching him play makes you want to sit and listen to the music and reminds you of being in nature.

David is a German performer who according to his Bio on YouTube, started his musical journey with the violin at age six. At age 12 he started playing the pan flute and has been performing with it exclusively ever since. The pan flute is a musical instrument that is based on a closed tube and is made up of multiple pipes of different lengths. He focuses on playing Christian and popular music for the world to hear.
