Hannah D sits casually in her room with her stunningly detailed guitar. She begins to sing. Her trills and purity in her voice are captivating. They will draw you in to want to hear more. The way she sings this song with her voice causes you to go into a place of reflection and praise. Her voice is relaxing and calming but unique and intriguing. Hannah is a true musical artist. She does not just sing a song to sing it. She really puts herself into the song and makes it her own.

He offers guidance and protection when the path forward is unclear. Also, He provides rest and comfort to the weary during life’s storms and battles.

Yes, life can beat you down and pummel you. But if we hold on and cling to Christ and His message of love, grace and forgiveness, it will all be worth it when we all get to heaven. What a day of rejoicing that will be!

Longtime Hollywood actor Dennis Quaid gave a moving and heartfelt live performance of "God Gets Lonely Too."

The most popular Bible verse, John 3:16, says that God loved the world so much that He decided to send His one and only Son to Earth. Jesus Christ would later willingly go to the cross, suffering and dying, paying for the sins of all humanity. Christ paid a debt none of us could have ever paid. He did only what He could have done.

Everything God does is borne out of love. He freely offers everyone that same love, forgiveness, mercy and grace, hoping that all will turn to Him and away from their lives of sin. Ultimately, whether to accept or reject God's gift of forgiveness and eternal salvation is up to us.

Human beings are fallen creatures, and whenever they turn away from God, it breaks His heart. In a clip posted on YouTube, Dennis sings "God Gets Lonely Too, a tune about how God can and does get lonely when we turn and run away from Him. It must break His heart whenever someone He loves so dearly rejects Him.

Dennis' song, which is beautifully written, is about God's heart and how humans, with their disobedience and sin, cause Him pain. Dennis creates a powerful but heartbreaking picture of how Adam and Eve's sin in the Garden of Eden and our sinful ways have caused Him much pain. All have turned and run away from Him.

The song's chorus is simple but incredibly powerful.

Even God can get the blues"

Sin does nothing but hurts and destroys everything that it encounters. It rips apart families and marriages and ruins careers. It also causes Him pain. But He is a loving and faithful heavenly Father who is always quick to forgive.

After watching the new Christian movie The Forge on 24 August 2024 at the movie theater, there was a scene that showed a pamphlet called Roman's Road. I was inspired to write a narrative poem with elements of lyric poetry, titled The Roman's Road. It is based on the following verses: Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 10:9-10 "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved." Romans 10:13 "For, 'Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" These verses collectively outline key aspects of the Christian message of salvation. Breakdown of the Lyrics: Verse 1: References Romans 3:23, highlighting humanity's universal sinfulness. It describes how all people have fallen short of God's glory and are burdened by guilt and shame. Chorus: The "Roman's Road" metaphor symbolizes the journey of salvation, which leads from darkness and sin to redemption and eternal life through faith and God's grace. One man turned in an awe-inspiring and captivating rendition of the beloved hymn "Just a Little Talk with Jesus."

God gives each person a different set of skills and abilities. Musicians are a unique group of people who have been blessed with the God-given gift of creating beautiful sounds. Using the strength and beauty of their voices or nimble, quick-moving fingers, musicians produce sounds that are pleasant to the ear.

Of course, these musical gifts are given to individuals so that they may bring glory and honor to His name. With their talent, they might sing a lyric that ministers or touches someone's heart. They could help lead someone who desperately needs help and hope to the Lord. As seen in Sunday morning services every week, music is powerful.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one man uses his God-given musical abilities to sing and praise the Lord by performing an outstanding version of the song "Just a Little Talk with Jesus." Of course, it's a tune about how Jesus Christ can and does change lives.

The song's simple but powerful opening verse tells listeners how Jesus can change a life immediately. He freely offers the forgiveness of sins and salvation to all who earnestly call upon His name. As the song mentions, after that prayer, that interaction with Him, you'll never be the same again.

He bathed my heart in love, and He wrote my name above

What a beautiful song and performance about Christ's love, forgiveness and grace. We are all sinners, having fallen short of God's glory. We all need a talk with Jesus, and it will make all the difference in the world.

Hymns are beautiful pieces of music that tell of Christ’s love, forgiveness, mercy and grace. Most are timeless classics that have held up well over the years, even though, in some cases, several of them are hundreds of years old. The messages and lyrics of those songs are as relevant today as when they were first written.

Even though it is true that hymns are still necessary and relevant pieces of music, many churches have moved away from them. Some places of worship may sprinkle hymns in the praise and worship portion of their services here and there. The majority of churches, though, have chosen to sing and perform contemporary Christian tunes. How could we ever leave out and move away from hymns like “Great is Thy Faithfulness,” “In The Garden” and “Amazing Grace?”

In a clip posted on YouTube, two women give a lovely rendition of another of those hymns: “In The Sweet By and By.” Of course, the song is about heaven, where there is no sickness, heartache, pain or death. It’s also a tune that many can likely sing entirely from memory.

The song’s beautiful, iconic and memorable chorus describes what every follower of Christ is striving and working toward. It is where He has gone and prepared a place for you, me and every other Christian.
