Kids’ Night on Broadway, a year-round national audience development program of The Broadway League, is generously presented by The New York Times. Since its launch in 1996, more than 386,000 Kids' Night on Broadway tickets have helped thousands of families experience the excitement of Broadway together.

The Broadway League announced today that tickets for Kids' Night on Broadway® are now on-sale for 22 participating Broadway shows. A program of The Broadway League, Kids’ Night on Broadway allows anyone 18 and under to attend a participating Broadway show for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult. Kids’ Night on Broadway is celebrated with in-theatre activities including talkbacks, sing-alongs, art projects, Kids’ Night on Broadway activity books, and more. In addition, 15 restaurants in the Theatre District, the Museum of Broadway, and Top of the Rock will offer exclusive deals for Kids' Night on Broadway ticketholders on Tuesday, August 25. Many of the participating restaurants will offer free kids’ meals with the purchase of an adult entree, giving families the opportunity to enjoy a full evening out. ABOUT FINN:
When teachers ask what their students did this summer, 8-year-old Finn from Shelby Township in Michigan might have the best story in the classroom. He’s having one last summer adventure, getting ready to pack his bags and head back to Times Square for a performance at the iconic Ellen’s Stardust Diner. He secured one of five spots to become a “Junior Starduster” for the day and sing LIVE at the iconic world-famous eatery on Tuesday, August 25. Finn was the winner of the 6-8 year old category.
Out of over 300 submissions in less than 24 hours from kids all around the U.S. (and beyond), Finn was selected as one of 30 finalists to audition live at the diner on July 21. He performed “When I Get My Name in Lights,” from The Boy from Oz for the judging panel, which included Broadway stars Nick Barrington, Gilbert L. Bailey II, Lisa Howard, Bailey McCall and vocal and theater artist Katy Wolfe.
Finn has been performing since before he could walk. He is an avid dancer and, though not quite two at the time, he freestyled his way through quarantine, much to the entertainment of his social media following. Finn is super sensitive, as well as empathetic, and can cry on cue. Finn is also a proud big brother to Oliver.
ABOUT ELLEN’S STARDUST DINER:
Originally opened in 1979 across from City Hall, Ellen’s Café first started as a local coffee and bake shop, serving Mayors, elected officials, and New Yorkers for nearly 15 years. Afterwards, Ellen’s rebranded as Ellen’s Stardust Diner and moved to its current Times Square location at 1650 Broadway, becoming known as the home of the original world-famous singing waitstaff and a celebrated 1950s retro themed restaurant, welcoming New Yorkers, celebrities, and tourists from all over the globe.
