The third episode of The Mike Gallagher Show’s “No Interruptions Podcast” features Mark Oliva and Dr. Gail Saltz. Mark Oliva is the Director Of Public Affairs at the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Oliva is also an 11 year veteran of the USMC (United States Marine Corps). Dr. Gail Saltz is the Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at The New York Presbyterian Hospital. Saltz is an American psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, columnist, and television commentator. Mr. Oliva and Dr. Saltz debate whether we need to enact new gun control laws in America. Should we not be allowing 18 year olds to buy any gun they want? Would new gun control laws or red flag laws be constitutional? What contributes to the most amount of gun deaths in the country? What role does mental health play in this discussion over how we can prevent future mass shootings?
