Sean Paul Murphy is an award-winning screenwriter, author, and musician based in Baltimore, Maryland. He has written and produced fourteen feature films, including notable titles such as Hidden Secrets, Sarah’s Choice, and The Encounter. His work often explores themes of faith and personal transformation. In 2014, he published his memoir, The Promise, or the Pros and Cons of Talking with God, which recounts his spiritual journey and its intersection with his first love, offering a candid and introspective narrative.
Beyond filmmaking, Murphy is an accomplished musician, having released several concept-driven albums that delve into themes of love, loss, and personal reflection. His music often incorporates elements of storytelling, drawing from his own experiences and relationships. Additionally, he has written a novel titled Chapel Street, a horror story inspired by real-life events, further showcasing his versatility as a storyteller.
