Danny Gokey’s Heartfelt ‘Only For a Moment’ Lyric Video

If you’re in need of strength, look no further than Danny Gokey’s heartfelt, ‘Only For a Moment’ song in his new lyric video. Sometimes life feels like a long season of winter — bare branches, unanswered prayers, and the cold silence of waiting. And it’s here, in this in-between space, that Danny Gokey’s ‘Only For a Moment’ feels like a song you didn’t know your soul needed. One of the things I love about Danny is the way he somehow reaches into your chest, takes the very ache you couldn’t name, and sings it back to you like a psalm.

As he sings, “Before the bloom of a rose, there’s a season in the dirt,” you can almost feel the soil between your fingers — the heaviness of hard days and hidden work.

But friend, that’s where God does His deepest work — in the buried, broken, quiet places. Danny’s voice doesn’t just sing; it reassures, uplifts, and holds you right where you are. He reminds us that this — this heartbreak, this dry season, this silence — it’s only for a moment.

Let that truth settle deep. It’s only for a moment. Not forever. Not the end of your story.

His lyrics paint hope like sunrise on frost: “Where you are is not where you were made to stay.”

You are planted, not abandoned. Watered, not wasted. Held, not forgotten.

Like a sacred echo of Romans 8:28, Danny declares with holy confidence that God is working it out — right here, right now, in the middle of your mess. And it’s not just a pep talk. It’s a promise. Because you, beloved, are rooted in a Redeemer who always finishes what He starts.

“God saw something beautiful the day He sowed the seed.” And that seed? That’s you.

We forget that in God’s hands, delay isn’t denial — it’s preparation. The bloom is coming. The harvest isn’t far. And if you find yourself whispering prayers with tear-stained cheeks today, this song is a warm reminder: He hasn’t left you. This season has a purpose.

So don’t rush out of the rain. Let it water you.

This moment might feel like the end, but it’s really the middle — the part where God is still writing something beautiful into your story. He’s already in the next chapter, smiling, waiting, whispering:

“Just hold on, love. It’s only for a moment.”

1 Peter 5:10 “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace... will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”

Anne Wilson’s Stirring Acoustic Version of ‘Strong’

Even when you’re empty, you’re still held, and Anne Wilson’s stirring acoustic version of ‘Strong’ will remind you of that. Sometimes life knocks the wind clear out of you.

Not because you did something wrong. Not because you weren’t praying enough, faithful enough, brave enough. But because life is heavy and unpredictable, and the curveballs come fast, and no matter how you brace, they still land deep in the soft parts of your soul.

Anne Wilson gets it. She knows what it means to live through loss and to walk with your knees shaking and your spirit barely standing. And in her stripped-down, acoustic version of ‘Strong,’ you don’t just hear her voice—you hear the echo of every broken woman who’s ever whispered, “Lord, I can’t do this on my own.”

Her performance is simple—no flash, no glitz—just Anne, her voice, and a weighty kind of worship that settles deep in the chest. It's the kind of song that lets tears fall without asking permission, and then gently reminds you: Jesus is still holding on to you.

‘I’m strong when I’ve got nothing I’m strong even when I’m weak
‘Cause the strong arms of my Savior
Are holding on to me’

Isn’t that the kind of strength we all need? Not the kind that roars—but the kind that remains. The kind that doesn’t demand you carry it all—but gently lifts you instead.

We think we have to be the strong one: for the kids, for the aging parents, for our husbands, our friends, our church. But sometimes strength looks like collapsing into the arms of Jesus and letting Him be strong for us. Because He is. He always is.

And even on the days when you feel like all you can do is breathe and blink through the ache—you are still strong, because you are still held. Let this song be your quiet anthem today, friend. Let it wash over the parts of you that are exhausted. Let it remind you that you don’t have to earn the Lord’s strength. It’s yours. Right now. Right here.

As Ephesians 6:10 tells us: “Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His power.”

So today, don’t worry if your voice shakes when you pray. Don’t worry if you can’t hold it all together. Let the Savior hold you.

And just like Anne sings, you’ll realize—you’re stronger than you think.

‘This Little Light of Mine’ Shines Bright in Stunning A Cappella Performance

‘This Little Light of Mine’ shines bright in a stunning a cappella performance by Sam Robson, rekindling memories of the simple faith songs we first sang as children. It’s the song we learned sitting cross-legged on worn carpet in Sunday school, our young hearts catching fire with the idea that we could carry the light of Jesus into the world. And as time has gently carried us into new seasons — as mothers, grandmothers, teachers, and friends — we have passed it on, one precious voice at a time.

We might not have expected to hear it again in a way that could lift the soul sky-high — until now.

With nothing but his own layered voice, Sam Robson breathes fresh wonder into this beloved classic. He splits the harmonies across a dozen different keys and videos, integrating and weaving claps and beats into a seamless, spirit-stirring sound that would even make the Pentatonix pause in admiration of this a cappella version.

You can't help but sway. Maybe you’ll tap your toes. Maybe you’ll clap your hands like you did back when your heart didn’t know how to hide its joy. Maybe — just maybe — you’ll find yourself singing right along.

Because the truth is — ‘This Little Light of Mine’ was never just a children's song; it’s  reminder that even the smallest light, tended with love, can push back a world of darkness. And boy, don’t we need that today?

Sam’s beautifully talented arrangement reminds us of what we often forget: that even now, especially now, the world needs the unashamed light shining through each of us. So turn up the music. Clap louder. Sing freer. Let your light be a spark that sets someone else’s heart ablaze, because no darkness can stand against a soul determined to shine. And that’s what we do for each other.

Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Big Daddy Weave and Zach Williams Unite for Powerful 'Stranger No More' Lyric Video

Christian band Big Daddy Weave teams up with Zach Williams for a powerful ‘Stranger No More’ music lyric video. Through connecting artistic lyricism with the Bible, Big Daddy Weave and Zach Williams convey the message of the story of the Prodigal Son.

Hailing from Mobile, Alabama, Big Daddy Weave has been making music for the Lord since 1998. Big Daddy Weave consists of Mike Weaver, Joe Shirk, Jeremy Redmon, Brian Beihl, and Raul Alfonso. Jay Weaver, Mike Weaver’s brother, was also in the band but sadly passed away in 2022. Their music focuses on bringing people to the feet of Jesus and worshiping Him with their entire heart, mind, body, and soul. All of Big Daddy Weave’s music has a calming, yet inspiring effect on listeners as it can bring rest and comfort to the weary soul.

Zach Williams is a Christian artist, whose hometown is Jonesboro, Arkansas. Before going solo, Zach had a band called Zack Williams & the Reformation as well as he was part of a band named Brothers of Grace. His music is classified as Christian rock and is edgy, soulful, and genuine. Big Daddy Weave and Zach Williams merge together in perfect harmony for “Stranger No More” as they share the story of the Prodigal Son.

‘When you come home
His arms are open wide
You've got nothing to hide
There's more grace
Than you could know’

Luke 15:11-32 details the parable of the Prodigal Son. Jesus speaks of a son who left his father and his home, and chose to squander his wealth in wild living. Once the son starts struggling with poverty and reaches rock bottom, he longs for his father’s home. He returns to his father, asks for his forgiveness, and asks if he can be a servant in his household. Rather than scolding his son, the father welcomes him with open arms. This is exactly what the Father does for each of us and it is also what Big Daddy Weave and Zach Eilliams convey through ‘Stranger No More.’

“The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate” - Luke 15:21-24

'Ever Almighty' A Cappella Performance Wows

Andrew Martin Hymns wows the Internet with his a cappella performance of ‘Ever Almighty.’ During this video, Andrew covers four different types of choral music, including soprano, alto, tenor, and bass.

Andrew Martin Hymn is well-known across the web for his Christian music. With over 1.9 thousand subscribers, he has helped many people learn about the love God has for the world. His channel details many other songs he has covered, such as ‘At the Cross,’ ‘Lamb of God,’ and ‘Jesus, Name Above Names.’ In addition to doing covers, he also writes and helps with the arrangements of other hymns, such as the hymns ‘He Bore it All,’ ‘Joy for the Journey,’ and ‘Steady.’

During the video, Andrew sings with passion and praise. The listener can tell how much joy singing brings to Andrew. Andrew is not singing just to sing, but rather, to praise the Lord. With each note, he is careful to bring the word to completion. Through all of the four different types of choral music, he brings his a cappella performance to life. With no background music or other singers, he wows listeners with “Ever Almighty.”

‘Our God is ever almighty
Ever almighty to save
Our God is ever almighty
Ever almighty always’

Our God is an almighty God, and He will always save us. Even if we have not directly seen His loving hand protecting our lives, He has always been there with us. He is forever almighty and powerful. We don’t need to doubt His power, love, or comfort. God is truly mighty to save.

“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing” - Zephaniah 3:17

Moving ‘Open the Eyes of My Heart’ Performance

The Hour of Power Choir and Worship Team performs a moving performance of ‘Open the Eyes of My Heart.’ Through praise, soul, and worship, Hour of Power brings inspiration into our daily life.

The Hour of Power Choir and Worship Team is led by pastor, Bobby Schuller. Their outreach is huge, with millions of people tuning in to listen to their music as well as to hear their sermons each week. The Hour of Power Choir and Worship Team did not write ‘Open the Eyes of My Heart,’ however, they don’t neglect in giving the song the respect it deserves. By adding in their own soulful sound, it brings calmness to the listener’s heart.

‘Open the Eyes of My Heart’ was originally performed by Michael W. Smith in 2001. The Hour of Power Choir and Worship Team doesn’t take away anything from the original song, but rather adds in more praise. Throughout the video, we see this to be true as each of the singers, including the lead singers, are swaying in worship and lifting their hands in praise. All of their music is performed for the glory of God and to lift up praise to His Name.

‘Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You’

Similar to the lyrics of this song, we need to ask the Lord to open the eyes of our heart. Ask Him to help you see Him. Our entire life should be dedicated to Him as we would not be here today if it wasn’t for Him. He is our song, our praise, and our great King. The Lord is faithful and He will open the eyes of our heart in order for us to see Him.

“Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law” Psalm 119:18

Kings Return Stunning A Cappella ‘It Is Well with My Soul’ Rendition

Kings Return is a four-man choir that brings soul and renewal to the Christian music scene. With over 188,000 subscribers, they are making a huge impact in the world for Jesus and helping others know Him through their music.

Kings Return was discovered for their talent after one of their stairwell a cappella performances went viral. Without any background music or sounds, Kings Return wowed the Internet with their beautiful and moving performance. Kings Return chose their name because “Kings” refers to their charismatic nature and “Return” refers to how they want to give back to their community.

Kings Return a cappella performance ‘It Is Well with My Soul,’ is performed in a stairwell, with a sign to the left pointing to the third floor. No backing music or sounds are heard. All that is needed are the four voices of the singers, Gabe Kunda, Vaughn Faison, J.E. McKissic, and Jamall Williams. Through their soulful voices and powerful lyrics, they help the listener be reconnected with the Lord.

‘And the Lord shall descend,
Even so, it is well with my soul.
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul’

Kings Return is a modern band that still connects deeply with the hymns of the past. By adding their own twist and uniqueness to this hymn, they are building a lasting legacy for their music. ‘It Is Well with My Soul’ is a hymn that will continue to bring us comfort and hope in times of sorrow, loss, and pain. All is well with our soul because we know Jesus is in control and our future is found in Him.

“Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God” Psalm 42:5

Be With You

#4 on the Worship Playlist This song came through some testing and trials. I heard the Spirit of the Lord speak to me as I was worshiping today. Obedience to worship/ Not obedience to worship but to be in obedience to be able to worship in Spirit and in truth. I am learning so much lately about obedience. I have learned that I can do nothing outside of Jesus Christ. It continues to go deeper and deeper. For me to think that I am being obedient on my own strength is a delusion. I can't breath without the Lord so how can I do anything without Him? Nothing, there is nothing that prospers outside His hands. He is bringing us through the fire, refining us and purifying us into His spotless Bride. Through this is how we become to know Him more and more. The fire and the crushing is exhausting but the more we hold tightly to Him and speak His Word into our lives we will make it. His Word is our comfort to remember all His promises that He promised to be faithful to. He is never-ending. There are times when I think I'm not going to make it in those darkest hours, but He is so faithful to bring me through and His love is more powerful then before. Take me deeper Lord! Praying you all have a blessed week. He loves you and is always waiting for you to turn to Him and see Him right there with you. Love, Cecilia 🕊
