Choir Delivers Precious ‘This Little Light of Mine’ Rendition

It is always great to have kid-friendly worship songs. Watch this adorable video as a choir delivers a precious rendition of “This Little Light of Mine.”

This is an inspiring video for anyone's faith. The beginning starts with a pianist playing a happy tune. Then a sweet little girl sings a solo, followed by a sweet little boy and another little girl.

Each has their own unique talent. We see a full choir of joyful children celebrating the love of Jesus. It is wildly entertaining to encounter their zeal and various talents. We experience the innocent and pure worship of children from various age groups who come together. They excitedly worship God with their motions, voices, and their instruments. There is a brass section and even a child drummer.

On the second verse, we hear from more unique children who each have beautiful voices. The second verse is a wonderful addition.

“Like the moon in the night,
Like the sun shining bright
Jesus shines His light on me.”

This song is irresistible in every way, with children from all backgrounds and ethnicities worshiping Jesus with all that they have to offer Him. It gives us a glimpse into what eternity will be like and reminds us of Jesus’ special love and pursuit of children during His earthly ministry.

As you sing-along with these children, may your heart be softened to the work of Jesus’ light in your own life. He tells us to become like little children and that when we have Him as Savior, we get to shine His light. They so willingly and eagerly accept His words and trust His love for them. May we be empowered to do the same.

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:16

Breath in my lungs, hope in my chest, Joy in my bones, peace in my steps. Every heartbeat testifies— You’ve been faithful all my life. (Verse 1) I could talk about the storms I’ve seen, But I’d rather sing about what You redeemed. When I had nothing, You gave me more, Turned every tear to an open door. Every season, I’ve seen Your hand, You’ve been my shelter, You’ve been my stand. When I doubted, You still came through— That’s why my soul keeps thanking You! (Pre-Chorus) You turned my mourning into dancing shoes, Wrote joy on pages that once were blue. Now every breath’s a melody— Lord, You made a song out of me! (Chorus) I’ve got breath, I’ve got proof— My whole life sings gratitude. I’ve been lost, I’ve been found, But Your grace keeps spinning me ‘round. Every step, every move, All I see is what You do. I’ve got joy that breaks the gloom— My life sings gratitude! (Verse 2) You painted peace on my yesterday, Signed redemption across my pain. The same hands that carried me through the fight, Are the ones still holding me tonight. When I thought my story was done, You rewrote the script, called me “son.” Now the ending’s better than before— Your mercy keeps opening doors! (Bridge) Oh, I remember when I thought I’d fall— But You caught me through it all. Every valley, every climb, Was leading me to this peace of mind. Now my past can’t steal my praise, ‘Cause You keep showing up in new ways. If I had ten thousand tongues, Still, I’d never be done— (Tag) Singing thank You, thank You, thank You, Lord! You’re the reason I’ve been restored.

Peaceful Piano Version of ‘There’s Something About That Name’ Will Soothe Your Soul

Listen to this peaceful piano version of the song ‘There’s Something About That Name.’ Matthew Holt is the musician performing the hymn on the piano in this video. May this song uplift you and soothe your soul today!

‘Jesus, Jesus, Jesus; there's just something about that name.
Master, Savior, Jesus, like the fragrance after the rain;
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, let all Heaven and earth proclaim
Kings and kingdoms will all pass away, but there's something about that name.’

The song ‘There’s Something About That Name’ was written in 1970 by Bill and Gloria Gaither. Gloria says the song came to them out of a personal experience that confirmed the power and effect the name of Jesus had on their everyday lives. There really is something so special about the name of Jesus. No wonder so many songs and hymns have been written about His name!

Matthew Holt has had a full career, utilizing his musical talents. In 2004, he joined the award-winning family group The Perrys and played with them until 2008. Then in 2012, Matthew became the full-time keyboard player for the Gaither Vocal Band and the Gaither Homecoming Tour. In addition to his work as a full-time touring musician for the Gaither tour, Matthew serves as Executive Director of Bethel University’s Renaissance program in Tennessee, supporting up-and-coming artists.

Many people online shared their thoughts about Matthew’s piano performance of ‘There’s Something About That Name.’

“Such beautiful worship music that leads my heart to God’s throne. Thank you,” comments one person online after watching the video.

“Love it, love it! I close my eyes and I'm in heaven,” writes another person.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to this instrumental version of the hymn ‘There’s Something About That Name’ from Matthew Holt today, and may it be an encouragement for you!

Toni LaShaun | 'The Hope You Give' (Live at Godtube)

Jacksonville based singer-songwriter Toni LaShaun stopped by the GodTube Music Studio in Nashville to perform a live version of her new Christmas single, 'The Hope You Give.' A singer-songwriter, worship leader, author, and encourager, Toni’s heart for Jesus shines through every lyric. Her music blends soulful sincerity with a message of peace and hope, especially needed this time of year.

Jessie Harris and Gateway Worship 'Shout to the Lord' Moving Performance

Jessie Harris and Gateway Worship’s “Shout to the Lord” is an incredibly moving performance. It is worship in its purest form. Watch the video to experience it for yourself!

Jessie Harris starts off the worship team, leading with her vocals and piano from a large stage. From the very start of the song, the whole room has its hands lifted in praise.

Jessie’s voice is so strong and steady—it is a great match for this song. It’s so wonderful to hear a moving worship song from the '90s. It is slower than most modern songs and sounds so meaningful as Jessie sings each lyric. Some of the words in the song are:

My Jesus my Savior
Lord there is none like You
All of my days I want to praise
The wonders of Your mighty love

Numerous times in the Bible, it speaks about shouting and praising God in this manner. This song, those who sing it, and shouting His name bring much glory to God.

“Shout to the Lord” was introduced in 1993 by Australian singer and songwriter Darlene Zschech and made popular by Hillsong Worship a year later. Darlene wrote it at the age of 28, during a time in her life when she felt burdened and depressed, while sitting at her childhood piano.

As she sang, she felt joy returning to her. At the time, she was nervous to share her song with others, but now it’s been heard all over the globe and has been translated into over 20 languages. Out of Darlene’s darkness came something amazing, full of love and light. The song’s history is a wonderful testimony of how beauty can come from ashes!

“Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, you righteous: and shout for joy, all you that are upright in heart.” Psalms 32:11

'You Can’t Take My Song’ — Jamie MacDonald’s Anthem of Faith and Strength

Some songs don’t just play in the background — they move through you. They get in your bones, make your shoulders sway, and your spirit lift like it remembers something holy it almost forgot. Jamie MacDonald’s “You Can’t Take My Song” is one of those songs of anthem, of faith, and strength!

With its smooth ’70s groove and a hint of R&B soul, this tune feels like sunshine sneaking through blinds on a Saturday morning. From the very first beat, you can’t help but tap your foot and smile. It’s joy, freedom, and faith all wrapped up in a sound that makes you want to dance while folding laundry or driving down the road with the windows rolled down.

“They’ve been trying to silence me, trying to dim the light in me,” Jamie sings, and haven’t we all been there? Those seasons when life, loss, or the loud voices of doubt try to drown out the melody God planted deep inside us. But then comes the part that makes you want to shout along: “You can’t take my song.”

This is more than catchy because it’s real life. Jamie’s lyrics remind us that no matter what we’re facing — heartache, weariness, the struggle to just keep showing up — God is still our God. He’s the One who wrote our song long before anyone tried to steal it. And nothing, no darkness or doubt, can undo what He’s placed in us.

The music video captures that truth beautifully. Jamie lounges on a 1970s-era couch in what appears to be a storage room filled with the ordinary clutter of life: old lamps, stacked chairs, boxes, and bits of nostalgia. It feels like flipping through old home movies, the kind with soft lighting and unpolished edges. And that’s what makes it perfect. It’s a reminder that even in the everyday mess, God’s song remains. You don’t have to have it all together to sing again.

Jamie smiles between verses, her voice warm and strong, and you can almost feel God smiling too. Because He’s the One who gives us joy that feels like home, hope that carries us through, and a song that can’t be taken away.

So go ahead and share this with someone who’s been quiet for too long, someone who’s forgotten the melody that once made them brave. Because we all need to be reminded now and then: no matter what life tries to steal, the song God gave you still plays on.

Psalm 40:3 “He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God.”

Chilling A Cappella Version of 'Because He Lives'

Listen to this chilling a cappella cover of the song ‘Because He Lives’ from The Martins. Bill and Gloria Gaither's beautiful song has been an encouragement for people for many decades, and this rendition is just wonderful! The way The Martins blend their voices together with their harmonies is absolutely heavenly.

‘God sent His son, they called Him, Jesus;
He came to love, heal and forgive;
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives!’

When it comes to the hymn 'Because He Lives,’ the words and music were penned by Bill and Gloria Gaither. To date, the married couple have written more than 700 songs, produced 60 recordings, and several musicals. And both of them are authors or co-authors of several books.

But one of the most popular songs they have ever written is this one, ‘Because He Lives.’ The song begins with a reminder that Christ came down to earth, and the purpose of His coming was that we might face tomorrow with all its uncertainty. We are also reminded through the lyrics in the hymn that God holds our future in his hands, and this life is worth living because we put our trust and hope in Him.

As for The Martins, this sibling group rose to national and international success during the 1990s, showcasing their stunning and distinctive harmonies before a vast array of audiences. Over the years, the group garnered eight Dove Awards from the Gospel Music Association, as well as a prestigious Grammy nomination.

The siblings decided to take a break in 2003 and pursue individual music careers, but they reunited in 2010 and were stronger than ever. In 2011, they released their first new recording together in 10 years. In 2013, the group returned to the studio to record The Martins A Cappella. This recording earned The Martins a Grammy nomination for Best Roots Gospel Album. Most recently, The Martins produced their latest recording, Still Standing.

We hope you enjoyed listening to their a cappella rendition of ‘Because He Lives’ today!

You’ll Be Uplifted by This Beautiful ‘Praise You Anywhere' Cover

First Baptist Clarksville has released another incredible praise performance. You’ll be uplifted by this beautiful “Praise You Anywhere” cover. Play the video to hear the awesome act of worship.

The performance features several female lead vocalists and a full choir of stunning voices. There are guitar and bass notes, as well as piano, but the voices shine most of all. The worship team sings the song’s lyrics with their whole hearts.

Sometimes you've gotta dance through the darkness
Sing through the fire
Praise when it don't make sense
Sometimes you've gotta stare down the giant

The performance shines with sincerity as each person offers their talents in praise. It’s obvious that they’ve had a lot of practice and know how to tune their voices together to perfection.
It’s so wonderful to see a powerful performance like this.

It’s not one of those mainstream Hillsong videos that are known for capturing the essence of the Holy Spirit, but it’s just as raw, spirit-filled, powerful, and moving. The artists sound wonderful as they worship the Lord together and invite the audience to sing along.

“Praise You Anywhere” is one of those upbeat songs that makes you want to get up and shout with your hands lifted in praise to heaven. The song encourages reflection on God’s goodness and why he is worthy of all of our praise, always. It’s a declaration of faith and trust in the one who never fails.

He is our creator and like it’s mentioned in Psalms 35:18, shouting his name among many people gives Him glory. If you’re listening today, praise God along with the First Clarksville singers and thank Him for who he is! And remember—you can praise him anywhere.

“I will give you thanks in the great congregation: I will praise you among much people.” Psalms 35:18

Soothing Piano Rendition of ‘Blessed Assurance’ Is Heavenly

You may have never heard this particular hymn performed without any lyrics, and it’s about time. Because this soothing piano rendition of “Blessed Assurance” is heavenly in every sense of the word. Play the video to hear the wonderful and heartfelt piece.

It’s so refreshing to hear the hymn in a new way like this. It’s not one of the mainstream hymns, so when it’s performed, it is usually sung with instrumental accompaniment. But just listening to it played on a solo instrument is lovely.

“Blessed Assurance” is a hymn written in 1873 about dedication to Christ and happiness with Him. Some of the beginning lyrics are:

Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
born of his Spirit, washed in his blood.

The hymn was written by Fanny J. Crosby, who was inspired by a tune a composer played for her. Fanny was a blind and prolific songwriter. She is said to have penned over 8,000 hymns. “Blessed Assurance” sounds completely heavenly and even mentions heaven in the song as a place of “perfect delight.”

Pianist Jason Coleman does a lovely job of performing the hymn on his instrument. It’s easy to tell that he feels the song from his fingertips all the way right to his heart. The song sounds light and hopeful, hinting at the promise of heaven and God’s love, even without the lyrics being present. As you listen today, I hope you are soothed by this calm reminder of the blessed assurance we can have in Christ and in eternal salvation.

“Let us draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience: and having our body washed with pure water,” Hebrews 10:22
