Elvis Presley’s Soulful Performance ‘If The Lord Wasn’t Walking By My Side’

The King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, turned in a delightful and soulful performance of “If the Lord Wasn’t Walking by My Side.”

The world is full of lost, broken and struggling people. Most are looking for even the tiniest sign of hope that things will be better. Those individuals often deal with and carry burdens and worries too much to shoulder. Luckily, there is One who provides hope, comfort and a peace that surpasses all understanding.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Elvis sings a catchy and upbeat tune about how much the Lord cares, guides and provides daily. All would be lost without His constant guidance and direction. Christ changes lives.

“He heard me praying (He heard me praying on my knees at night)
Now I’m singing (Now I’m singing this happy song)
Because I’m happy (because I’m happy as I go along)
And I don’t know (I don’t know) just what I’d do
If the Lord wasn’t walking by my side”

As the song’s lyrics mention, the Lord completely changes one’s life. Christ’s blood shed upon the cross covers and wipes away all sin. He has the extraordinary ability to make something beautiful out of destruction and wreckage. He can and does interject hope into a hopeless situation.

But the lyrics also indicate that accepting Christ and allowing Him to change one’s heart and life is only the first step. From that point forward, it’s a relationship and daily walk with Him. Through prayer and continual reading of His Word, an individual is drawn closer to God, learning more about Him and His will for their lives.

The Bible reads that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. However, He freely offers love and forgiveness for those sins. It’s a gift that will change your mind, heart and life.

Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hears my voice and open the door, I will come in to him and will sup with him, and he with me.”

Emily Ann Roberts Uplifting 'Keep On' Official Lyric Video

Emily Ann Roberts' song ‘Keep On’ in her official lyric video serves as a poignant reminder of the resilience ingrained in the human spirit, drawing strength from an unwavering faith in God.

The lyrics paint a vivid picture of life's challenges and adversities, acknowledging that tears fall, our hearts get wounded, and the world can often seem overwhelming. Yet, woven through the verses is a thread of hope, asserting that our purpose transcends the struggles we face.

With her beautiful country-style voice, Emily sings the main lyrics, "Keep on going, your wheels were made for rolling," which encourages perseverance in spite of the trials. The metaphor of wheels reminds us to keep moving forward and keep making progress, emphasizing that our journey is meant to continue, regardless of the bumps in the road.

She draws on the connection between the human experience and faith that is underscored by lines such as "Hands were made for reaching out" and "Love was made to give away." These expressions echo a deeper purpose beyond individual struggles—it’s a call to extend kindness and compassion to others, reflecting God's love.

Emily reminds us of the importance of taking each day as it comes and trusting that God has a plan. She reminds us with God at our side, we can take a patient and steadfast approach to life's challenges. Emily encourages her listeners that time has the power to heal wounds and that mistakes do not define one's worth. It gives us courage and freedom to see ourselves the way God sees us.

"Keep On" by Emily Ann Roberts serves as a musical anthem for those navigating the complexities of life. Through its uplifting melody and empowering lyrics, the song reinforces the belief that, with God at the helm, there is always a reason to press on. We hope this song becomes a source of solace and motivation, echoing the sentiment that as long as our hearts are beating, we have the strength to keep on going with Jesus as our refuge.

Galatians 6:9 “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”

The constancy of the sunrise mirrors the unwavering nature of His love, reminding us that, with every new day, we are embraced by the assurance that He will never leave us.

Psalm 30:5 “For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.”

Redeemed Quartet ‘Climb Higher’ Official Music Video

A group of four unbelievably gifted vocalists, Redeemed Quartet, performed a touching song, “Climb Higher,” about the Lord’s faithfulness, love and forgiveness.

The world is full of broken people hurting, struggling and simply trying to make it through by any means possible. They are looking for the smallest, the tiniest sign of hope. Sin has destroyed lives and relationships, causing what appears to be irreparable damage.

But there is One who offers hope and a peace that surpasses all understanding. Jesus Christ offers those who are hurting and struggling comfort. He asks those carrying heavy burdens to cast all their worries upon Him. He is the forgiver of sins and the Savior of the world.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Redeemed Quartet gives a lovely performance, singing “Climb Higher.” It’s a tune about the healing and comforting power of Christ.

The lyrics also mention that sacrifice and the price Christ paid for every one of us. He willingly went to the cross, enduring a horrible and agonizing death as he spilled His life-giving blood for all.

“The path that leads to Calvary
Is marked with tears You shed for me
A rugged cross you bore with love
To bring me to my knees”

What beautiful and truth-filled lyrics about the unbelievable love and forgiveness that Christ freely offers to all. There is nothing that we could ever do to be worthy of such a gift.

Praise God for His amazing love and forgiveness!

Even those who aren’t the biggest fans of country music will still appreciate the message conveyed by the beautifully written lyrics. Because there is no other way or hope for man than Jesus Christ. All would be lost without and condemned to live out their days in their sin and shame if not for His sacrifice on Calvary.

Romans 5:8 “But God has made clear his love to us, in that, when we were still sinners, Christ gave his life for us.”

Thank You Lord Jesus

This is my first Christian song from 1977. I had 40 or so preChristian songs - many of them searching for answers - and when the Lord opened Himself up to me, this was #1. I currently have 141 original Christian songs uploaded to YouTube and just found this site. Many of my songs are over the 500mb limit - but I hope to upload as many as I can in the coming time frame! Lord bless you always and in all ways.

'Expect The Unexpected' Jason Crabb At Larry's Country Diner

Listen to ‘Expect The Unexpected’ performed by talented singer and guitarist Jason Crabb at Larry’s Country Diner.

Is it any surprise to find Jason as a special guest on TV’s famous show, Larry’s Country Diner? Jason not only fit in with the crowd but they enjoyed his soulful voice. His hit song holds a special place in the hearts of fans because of the relatiilbity of song. We are reminded with God all things are possible.

I’ve come to expect the unexpected from You
Things I can’t imagine, yet I know are true
All things are possible
There’s nothing you can’t do
I’ve come to expect the unexpected from You

From the first few chords and lyrics, you can’t help but sing along with Jason. Fans of Jason’s Gospel Blues mixed with southern country, you can’t help but dance right along to the music.Woven into the song is a nugget of God’s truth that encourages us run the race set before us.

Even if fire is falls from heaven and the walls around us crumble. Even when life seems to be falling apart we can still expect the unexpected from God in the form of comfort, hope, peace, and miracles.

I love when Jason reminds us of the heroes of faith in the Good Book:

I bet Peter’s faith was lifted when he got out of the boat
David started dancing when he let go of that stone
Oh, Abraham and Sara thought they were way too old

Released in 2018, ‘Expect The Unxpected’ became a number one hit because of its uplifting, truth-filled message. But this isn’t the only song Jason is known for. According to his website, this gifted country Christian artist wone over 21 Dove Awards and one grammy in his career including being named Gospel Music Association’s Dove Awards Artist and Male Vocalist of the year.

Like the song’s title, posture yourself to begin expecting the unexpected from your heavenly Father. Cast every burden on Him and wait in anticipation as God answers your prayers as you pray according to His will in your life. We hope you enjoyed listening to Jason sing of God’s greatness today!

Matthew 19:26 “Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Brooke Ligertwood Acoustic Performance 'Desert Song'

One of the most popular worship songs of our generation is the Desert Song. Check out Brooke Ligertwood’s acoustic performance of “Desert Song.”

At the start of this incredible video, Brooke has redone her classic worship hit. She is in a moody, dark room with dim lighting and a small band. The style of this remix has a pop twist to it with a calm and relaxing melody.

As she sings out the words of walking through hardships as a believer and trying to lean on the Lord, it really speaks to our hearts.

The instruments in this video are stunning. She includes violin, cello, drums, guitar, and keyboard. Brooke closes her eyes and sings to her Savior. She is confident in giving glory to God. An incredible backup vocalist joins in on the second verse with rich harmonies.

The beautiful bridge sings out:

All of my life in every season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship

As we listen to this song, no matter our current season, we have a reason to sing out to God and worship Him. He is still on the throne and still reigning. We have the victory in Him. We do not have to fear or be afraid.

We do not have to worry about the spiritual battles in front of us because Jesus has won the war. We, too, share in His triumph. Whether we are in a tough time or a celebration time, this song leads us to praise our faithful Savior Jesus.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11

Shane Shane Acoustic Performance Of ‘You’ve Already Won’

An unbelievably talented contemporary Christian band, Shane & Shane, gave an awe-inspiring acoustic performance, singing about the love, freedom and victory found in Jesus Christ.

The world is often a dark and dreary place, filled with people who are hurting and struggling to survive. They are looking for something, even the tiniest sign of hope for a better tomorrow. Sadly, this is the state that far too many people find themselves in.

But there is hope! There is One who has the power to turn someone’s life around, to make something beautiful out of a mess. Jesus Christ has won the victory over sin and death, providing comfort, hope and love to the lost and defeated.

In a video posted on YouTube, the band Shane & Shane perform the powerful and uplifting tune “You’ve Already Won.”

“I’m fighting a battle
That You’ve already won
No matter what comes my way
I will overcome”

As the song’s opening verses mention, no one can predict the future. What lies ahead tomorrow is unknowable. But God will provide the grace and strength necessary. He will deliver us through those circumstances, never leaving our side even for a moment. He is faithful and has never let us down before, and there are no indications that He will ever start doing so.

Followers of Christ can rest assured, with a peace that surpasses all understanding, that whatever this life and the world may throw our way, we know the end. Christ has already won whatever present battle we may be fighting.

His strength and grace are more than sufficient.

What a beautiful, uplifting and encouraging song about the power, love and strength of Jesus Christ. It’s easy to get wrapped up in our present circumstances, believing we will never make it through, but Jesus Christ has already won!

John 16:33 “I have said all these things to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble: but take heart! I have overcome the world.”

“Scars In Heaven” Casting Crowns And Amy Grant

Most with some years behind them will have no problem relating to the message of “Scars in Heaven,” sung here by Casting Crowns and Amy Grant. The music is lovely, and the lyrics are inspiring.

Casting Crowns member Mark Hall wrote “Scars in Heaven” with Matthew West, and the group recorded the song in 2021. Amy Grant joined Casting Crowns to record “Scars in Heaven” in September 2023.

Amy offered her feelings about the song in an instagram post shared on her official website, saying that she “choked up on every line.” She went on to say that the studio engineer, the producer, she, and others were crying during the recording of the “beautiful” song.

“Scars in Heaven” tells the story of a person mourning the loss of a loved one. While the grieving person wishes they had just one more day with their family member or friend, they are simultaneously comforted by the knowledge that all the scars, literal and figurative, that their lost loved bore are no more. The pain of loss is lessened by the promise of a Heavenly restoration at the end of one’s earthly journey.

Here are the words of the chorus from “Scars in Heaven:”

The only scars in Heaven, they won't belong to me and you
There'll be no such thing as broken, and all the old will be made new
And the thought that makes me smile now, even as the tears fall down
Is that the only scars in Heaven are on the hands that hold you now

Amy Grant began her music career in 1976; Casting Crowns began performing together in 1999. Both have found tremendous success in the music industry. Both have experienced loss and pain. Mark Hall shared the inspiration for “Scars in Heaven” when he spoke with The Christian Post back in June 2021.

Mark stated, “I began to write the song [while] watching my mom care for her mom and dad as they were passing away. They passed away within a year of each other. Seeing sickness change the people that raised her, seeing their minds change, and so many things were just taking a turn, and watching her bear the weight of that… My mom is a believer; she loves Jesus. She's the one I go to first when I need somebody to pray for me. But watching her deal with this as they passed away — that was tough.”

Ms. Grant’s voice is angelic. The violin that we hear at 45 seconds is superb. The way the tempo picks up at 1:45, as if to signify glimpses of hope, and the chorus of joyful voices that come together at 2:00—all these musical mechanics showcase the message of this perfect song.

How appropriate! Words and talents given to musicians so that they may communicate the most perfect truth there is. Jesus bears the scars that he suffered so that ours can be erased when we join Him in eternity!

“Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Put your hand into the wound in my side. Don’t be faithless any longer. Believe!”” John 20:27

Teen’s Mesmerizing ‘Amazing Grace’ Performance

One young man demonstrated his God-given, angelic voice with an awe-inspiring and stunning vocal performance of the most beloved hymn of all time, “Amazing Grace.”

Hymns are beautifully written pieces of music. Their lyrics often impart much wisdom and truth about the Lord’s love, faithfulness, forgiveness and grace. Songs like “How Great Thou Art,” “Victory in Jesus” and “Great is Thy Faithfulness” will never lose their meaning and significance no matter how many times we hear them.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one young man, Malakai Bayoh, performs the timeless classic “Amazing Grace.”

“Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found”

Simply put, Malakai’s performance is marvelous! To hear a voice like that coming from someone so young is almost unbelievable. God has blessed him with a singing voice that needs and deserves to be heard.

The entire clip is a feast for the ears. He expertly moves his voice up and down, hitting one impressively high note after another as the teen sings the beloved hymn.

However, like all performers, Malaki saves his best for last. At the end of the tune, Malakai reaches back and lets loose. He reaches for, hits and holds a series of high notes for an extended period of time.

His performance is enough to send chills up and down your back as you listen to the young man belt out the classic lyrics about God’s astounding and confounding grace.

Malakai, a teenager, first captured attention with his wondrous operatic voice on Britain's Got Talent. In his first appearance on the popular program, the teenager earned a coveted Golden Buzzer and even brought one of the show’s judges to tears.

This young man could sing the phonebook and create a pleasurable listening experience. His level of musical talent is absurd.

Psalm 105:2 “Let your voice be sounding in songs and melody; let all your thoughts be of the wonder of his works.”

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths,” Proverbs 3:5-6

'Holy Water' The Belonging Co. With Daniella Mason And David Dennis

If you need encouragement for your heart today, check out this reminder of Christ as the Living Water. “Holy Water” the Belonging Co. with Daniella Mason and David Dennis.

At the start of this song we see a church singing and the worship leaders proclaiming that anyone in need of strength and satisfaction can turn to Jesus. As various individuals sing and play their instruments, it is evident that the joy of the Lord is present in their worship.

They have great excitement over what they are singing. Daniella is so excited in her worship leading. She is a motivator and enthusiast.

We see a community of believers with various ethnicities, talents, and stories standing on one stage glorifying Christ. The Lord is worthy of all of our praise. He is so glorious. They sing to come on into the water because Jesus is our Living Water and He is who He says that He is.

The lyrics repeat a lot in hopes that the listener hears the message of hope proclaimed that Jesus has come to set us free. There is free worship in this video and great joy. The harmonies are completely stunning and the choir of people and the audience joining in makes it all the better.

Maybe you are feeling “spiritually dry” right now? Remember that Jesus is the Living Water, but in the midst of that, He is inviting us to come to Him. We are all thirsty and in need of spiritual fulfillment and purpose. Jesus is the answer to that deepest longing. We have nothing to bring, but we have everything to receive in Jesus. Praise Him!
