It's More

This original song is a reminder of what Christmas is really all about...Jesus.

We're the Kids of Heaven

Serbian song of praise, very popular there, with a catchy rhythm and tune and even better lyrics. It has been used to illustrate a Russian animated film called Serafima's Wonderful Journey" about the persecution of Christians under Communism. Trio’s Soul-Stirring ‘My Redeemer Is Faithful and True’ Cover

An incredibly talented trio delivered a soul-stirring cover of “My Redeemer is Faithful and True.” It’s an unbelievably powerful and moving performance about Christ’s love and faithfulness. Check out the video to watch and listen to the lovely rendition of the Steven Curtis Chapman tune.

Life is not always an easy, enjoyable or fun-loving experience. In fact, there will be many instances in which the opposite is true. Circumstances that are heartbreaking, painful and filled with sorrow will arise, often through no fault of our own. How could we possibly make it through this? But somehow, we managed to do it.

In a clip posted on YouTube, three singers beautifully perform a song about making it through those hard times and how it was made possible. It’s also a song about Christ’s amazing, unending love and His faithfulness.

“As I look back on the road I’ve traveled

I see so many times He carried me through

And if there’s one thing that I’ve learned in my life

My Redeemer is faithful and true”

While the vocal performances from all three individuals are fantastic and noteworthy, the song’s lyrics make this video worth watching and listening to repeatedly. The words are full of so much truth and accurately describe Christ’s wonderful, loving and faithful nature.

He was and always will be so much better than we deserve. We could never do anything to earn His love, mercy, forgiveness, guidance and protection. Yet, He is always there, no matter what we do or how we stumble and fall. As the song’s title states and the chorus mentions multiple times, He is faithful and true. Anyone who has been a follower of Christ for any significant amount of time knows this to be 100 percent correct.

Life will sometimes be rough, but we can rest assured that we will make it through because He is so faithful and true.

Hebrews 10:23 “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for he is faithful that promised.”

Praise and Worship Team’s Soul-Stirring Rendition of ‘Mercy’

One church’s praise and worship team delivered a soul-stirring rendition of “Mercy.” This powerful and moving cover of the tune previously sung and recorded by Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music is one you’ll want to listen to repeatedly. Watch the video and listen to the talented team’s cover performance.

You and I and everyone else on Earth, as the Bible states, are sinners who have fallen short of the glory of God. In our arrogance and disobedience, we willingly turned our back on Him. We chose our way, ignoring and going against His commands and directives. In short, we’re sinners.

But for some reason, God, in His mercy and goodness, made a way to repair and bridge the divide sin caused in our relationship with Him. God sent His Son, Jesus Christ. He became a sacrifice, taking our spot on the cross. Christ paid a debt we can never repay, giving us hope and a future.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the praise and worship team from First Baptist Clarksville in Clarksville, Tennessee, beautifully performed “Mercy.” As indicated by the song’s title, it’s a tune about the undeserving love and mercy that Christ did and continues to show every one of us.

“Now I’m alive to tell the story

How I’ve overcome

It’s His goodness and mercy

And the power of His blood”

The song’s lyrics accurately articulate and describe what the Lord has done and continues to do in lives. He takes people and changes lives, making things thought lost and broken new again. He brings hope and offers forgiveness of sins to all. None of which any of us deserve. However, it’s all only possible because of Christ’s love, goodness and mercy.

Watch this video, listen to the song lyrics and try not to get emotional. That’s a near impossibility when truly considering what Christ has done and continues to do in our lives.

Hebrews 4:16 “Then let us come near to the seat of grace without fear, so that mercy may be given to us, and we may get grace for our help in time of need.”

Michael Tait and Choir’s Soul-Stirring ‘We Believe’ Performance

Michael Tait and a massive choir delivered a soul-stirring “We Believe” performance. The hundreds of voices combined to make for a moving and dazzling rendition of the Newsboys hit. Check out the clip to watch and listen to the powerful rendition.

The world is a sad, lonely and broken place. Sin has done a number on the world and its hurting and struggling inhabitants. Sin has utterly ruined and destroyed anything and everything with which it has come into contact. Sin and its repercussions have devastated marriages, careers and entire lives.

As horrible an impact sin has had on this world, perhaps its worst, most damaging effect has been that it leaves people without hope. Without any hope, people will simply give up and surrender, choosing to throw in the towel. If there is no future and they’ve already lost, why bother continuing the fight? In that case, wouldn’t the simple, most sensible solution be to wave the white flag?

In a clip posted on YouTube, Michael Tait, lead singer of the Newsboys, along with the First Dallas Choir, performs a song about the hope and future found in Jesus Christ. “We Believe” recognizes all this world's hurt, darkness and hopelessness. However, as the song’s beautifully written lyrics state, there is an answer to whatever may ail you.

“We believe in God the Father

We believe in Jesus Christ

We believe in the Holy Spirit

And He’s given us new life”

Like the performance captured in the five-minute clip, the lyrics are powerful. Christ freely offers love, forgiveness and a future to all. He can and does inject hope into a situation where there appears to be none. He can make a way and turn things around when the outcome and road ahead appears bleak. In Christ, we find forgiveness and hope because there is no future without Him.

Romans 15:13 “Now may the God of hope make you full of joy and peace through faith, so that all hope may be yours in the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Calm. Peaceful. Beautiful. Silent Night.

American Idol Alum Warren Peay Captivates with Soul-Stirring ‘Great Are You Lord’ Cover

I stumbled across this video recently that made me stop in my tracks because it was breathtaking. Take a listen to American Idol Alum Warren Peay as he captivates with a soul-stirring ‘Great Are You Lord’ cover. In the video, you’ll find Warren sitting alone in the church pew as the sunlight filters in through the stained glass behind him. There was nothing flashy about this performance. It was Warren, God, and his song of worship with his guitar and the powerful lyrics that bring your heart into a moment of worship.

‘It's Your breath in our lungs,So we pour out our praise

We pour out our praise, It's Your breath in our lungs

So we pour out our praise to You only’

It was one of those rare moments when the music pulls you in and makes you feel something deeper. Warren’s voice is unlike anything I’ve heard—a sultry Southern rock sound laced with raw passion. Every note seemed to rise like a prayer, filling the empty church with a kind of reverence that made me pause, breathe, and let the weight of the lyrics sink in.

As I watched this music video, I couldn’t help but think God uses the gifts He’s placed inside each of us in ways only God can. Here’s a man who had walked onto one of the biggest stages of the world in Americal Idol, competing with countless other talented individuals and now he is sitting alone in a church using his gifts to glorify God.

And isn’t that what worship is all about? Not just singing words but letting the truth of them resonate in our souls. You give life, You are love, You bring light to the darkness… Those words felt so alive as Warren sang them, a reminder that even when we’re sitting in our own “pews” of life—quiet moments, unseen spaces—our worship matters.

Worship doesn’t need a stage, it needs a willing spirit. We hope you enjoyed taking a moment worship with Warren today. Whether you’re singing in your car at the top of your lungs or sitting quietly in prayer, offer God what you have.

Job 33:4 The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

Praise and Worship Team's Moving 'I Can Only Imagine' Cover

I found myself moved to tears as I watched a praise and worship team’s moving ‘I Can Only Imagine’ cover by the First Baptist Church of Clarksville. As they sang, it felt like heaven touched the earth as the lyrics ushered in God’s presence in the purple-hued sanctuary. It wasn’t the lights or the special effects that caught my attention; and it was the reverence the team had as they sang these powerful words:

‘Surrounded by You glory

What will my heart feel

Will I dance for you Jesus

Or in awe of You be still’

The band and choir gave it their all, and as they sang, I couldn’t help but reflect on the questions the song invites us to consider: “What will it really be like to meet Jesus face to face? Will I fall on my knees, unable to speak? Or will I burst into praise, singing with every fiber of my being?”

That’s one of the reasons I love this song, it takes the focus off of us as we imagine what it’s like to meet God. We wonder what it will be like. And the anticipation of that day is indescribable. That’s what I love about this worship song, it pulls us out of the noise and distractions and directs our attention fully on Jesus. It strips away everything else–our worries, fears, problems, and even our own desires and fills us with the longing of God’s presence.

Whether you’ve heard the song a thousand times or you’re just discovering it, I encourage you to let its message sink in. Imagine what it will be like to see Jesus, to stand in His glory, and to be finally home. Because one day, the imagination will become a reality—and I can only imagine how beautiful that will be.

Matthew 25:23 "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful over a few things; I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord'"

Chilling ‘Amazing Grace’ Rendition Marks Reopening of Notre Dame in Paris

Grab a tissue, you will be moved to tears at the chilling ‘Amazing Grace’ rendition that marked the reopening of Norte Dame in Paris. There is something about the song ‘Amazing Grace’ that infiltrates our hearts and helps us focus on the Lord. Everything else in life is stripped away as we focus on the powerful words that are the anthem of Christ's followers everywhere.

It couldn’t have been a more perfect song if there ever was one when Gustavo Dudamel and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, along with soprano Pretty Yende, worked together to create a masterpiece out of the song. At its grand reopening, the fitting song was sung for the entire world to hear as he echoed through the walls of the cathedral. The music flowed through the place that had been once consumed by flames in a 2019 fire.

‘Amazing grace, how sweet the sound

That saved a wretch like me

I once was lost, but now I'm found

Was blind, but now I see’

Pretty Yende’s voice echoed like a long-lost angel coming home to the church as she sang the precious words. Her voice hushed the crowd in awe-like wonder.

As she sang the words above, I couldn’t help but remember the fire, the devastation, and how so many people tried to save the church from the fire. Then, when it was in mere ashes, everyone was determined to rebuild the church to its former glory. Isn’t that so like God? He takes what was broken and over time, He restores it into something even more beautiful than before. Norte Dame is a powerful reminder of God’s ability to redeem and restore what’s been lost.

Today, as we watch this beautiful song being sung, let’s remember to lean into the truth. Just as the cathedral stood tall and proud once more, our hearts can stand tall in God’s love and grace, knowing He restores all.

John 1:16 “For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.”

Guitarist Reimagines ‘Hallelujah Chorus’ with a Rock Twist in Epic Performance

A guitarist reimagined the beloved “Hallelujah Chorus,” adding a thrilling and thoroughly enjoyable rock twist, making for one epic musical performance. The incredibly talented musician gave the timeless Christmas piece an updated sound and feel. Check out this video because this version of the Christmas classic is more than worth a few listens.

Christmas is a festive, joyous season, complete with song after song after song about the most wonderful time of the year. Essentially, there is a Christmas tune for every musical taste and preference. If you haven’t found a Christmas song that you at least mildly enjoy, that’s only because you aren’t trying hard enough.

The classics, those songs that we sing and listen to every year at Christmastime, have been performed and recorded hundreds, perhaps thousands, of times. Each time, every musician tries to offer and add their own take and spin on whatever Christmas classic they are covering. Some become classics in their own right, and others are ones we’d like to forget completely.

In a clip posted on YouTube, S. Joel Norman performs George Frideric Handel’s masterpiece “Hallelujah Chorus.” Of course, everyone is familiar with this piece of music, even if they don’t know it. The tune is still widely heard and covered despite being hundreds of years old. However, you’ve probably never heard it played quite like this before.

Using only electric guitars, S. Joel turns in an absolutely rocking performance about the tune of the angels singing and celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. This is a simply masterful performance from a clearly gifted musician. It’s a unique take on a Christmas classic we all know and love. This will surely be one that you add to your Christmas rotation, to be played yearly.
