However, in order to have that as his sons, that patience which endures temptations, trials, persecutions, afflictions, we need to understand & comprehend that we are in a process of being transformed, from the image of this world (fallen Adam, the father of lies Ha Satan), to being conformed into the image of the SON of YHWH. This our predestination, the joy set before us, strengthens us in our resolve to endure, bear up, choose & take His yoke, rather than responding in our fleshman. It is the "length" comprehension mentioned in kjvEph3:18, which enables us to go, with Him, to the depth part of the vertical dimension, which in turn provides for Him to be able to lift us up to a "height" in Him.
