''Secret Place'' - Tim Cooper. Based on Psalm 91

I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust"

Lyrics:
VERSE 1
In the secret place
Is where I speak my secrets
And where my tears release
As I declare my weakness

Covered by His wings
In the shelter of the Most High
It’s where I will find rest
In the shadow of The Almighty

CHORUS
I say of the Lord, "He is my refuge
And my fortress, my God in whom I trust"
You are my hiding place, You protect me from trouble
And surround me with songs of deliverance

VERSE 2
In the secret place
Is where I bring my guard down
Where I confess my sins
And trust in Your mercy

And when the waters rise
They will not reach me
But Your unfailing love
Will surround me

You Are There - Tim Cooper. From Psalm 139:7019

Where can I go from Your spirit?
Where can I, run from Your presence?
If I go to the depths or to the heavens
You are there, You are there
If I rise on the wings of the morning
If I rest on the far side of the sea
Even there, Your hand will guide me
Your right hand will hold me fast

Blessed Beyond - Marvin Major feat. Tina Marshall

In times of distress, Blessed Beyond reminds us how blessed we still are...

We Celebrate Resurrection Sunday

Pastor Lupe Garcia preaches on the true meaning of Resurrection Sunday and what the word Easter means and stands for.

It's More Blessed to Give Than Receive

This one has an invitation, a song, and a challenge! The invitation is in two parts: Matthew 6:20 and Acts 20:35. The song has four verses based on Scriptures from various scenes in the Gospels: the widow who gave her two mites (small coins) (Luke 21:1-4), Jesus teaching during the Sermon on the Mount about treasures in heaven (Matthew 6:19-24), the boy who gave the five small barley loaves and two small fish he had so that the 5000+ people could all eat (John 6:1-15), and Jesus speaking with Nicodemus about the need to be born again (John 3:1-21). May we all be inspired to give generously to others locally and abroad that many may be helped and saved.

lyrics:

Chorus:

It's more blessed to give than receive.
It's the way of the Father.
It's more blessed to give than receive.
There's a reward like no other.

The widow with two mites had to choose:
would she spend or give or save?
Would she give none, one, or two?
You know all she had she gave!
(Chorus)

Store up treasure in heaven
where moth and rust cannot destroy!
And then one day when you're home,
for you there will be such joy!
(Chorus)

The boy with five loaves and two fish
for the sake of many he allowed!
When you give unto the Lord,
Jesus will use it to bless a great big crowd!
(Chorus)

God so loved the world
that He gave His one and only Son.
He gave Him up for you and me
so with Him we could be one!

(Chorus)

Greater Love

In John 15:13, Jesus tells the eleven disciples with Him, "Greater love has no one than this: that he lay down his life for his friends." Jesus knew what was going to happen, and He was bringing words of comfort and assurance to His disciples during this last really good time to be with them before He would be taken away and crucified. Of course, Jesus preaches what He practices! In the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus was already experiencing the weight of the burden. Just as olives were pressed three times to get the oil out of them, Jesus went and prayed three times, the third time His sweat was like great drops of blood (Luke 22:44) (thanks, guys at The Chosen, for the insight about the garden of Gethsemane and what Jesus did there!)

lyrics:
Greater love has no one than this,
that he lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13, NIV)

And this He did, this He did,
yes, this He did, Jesus did.

This is how we know what love is:
Jesus Christ laid down His life (1 John 3:16, NIV)

For us He did, yes, He did,
for us He did, Jesus did.

And now He lives, yes, He lives,
forever lives, Jesus lives!

Brand New Day

This is a song that I felt God inspired in my heart when I had a time of depression in my life. It helped lift me out of that time and focus my thoughts on what God has done, on what He does daily when He awakens me, and on what Jesus is going to do one day. Each day is a brand new day! Now on this Easter Sunday, April 12 of 2020, I want to share this joy with everyone! Jesus is alive! Trust Him!

lyrics:
Your faithfulness is great, Lord.
God, Your mercies are new ev'ry morning.
Your love and grace are so amazing,
and yeah! I know that You're leadin',
it's a brand new day! Brand new day!

There's nothin' finer than Your great love, Lord.
You waken me and say, "Let's get away!"
Here comes the morning sunlight,
here comes the Son!
it's a brand new day! Brand new day!

Like takin' a break on a long, long road trip,
it's a wayside rest for your soul, a rest for your soul!
Just take some time to rest, talk it out with Jesus,
and then you'll know! And with God you'll go!
Brand new day!

And then one day we'll see You comin'
on the clouds with pow'r and great glory!
We'll meet You up in the air
to be with You there,
it's a brand new day! Brand new day!
