Christian Aid will receive 50% of the takings from the new single for their COVID-19 appeal. “As hard- pressed as we are here, there are many other parts of the world where this disease could be completely devastating,” says Andrew. “As Christian Aid is fond of saying, ‘Love unites us all’ and I think that’s a message that’s shared by the song. I’d love it to be shared widely: I think the message can bring us all together, and the funds raised will help those most in need.”
Jill Stone, one of Christian Aid’s UK regional managers was delighted when Andrew called to offer to raise money for their COVID-19 appeal with his song.

In this song Moses tries to help the Children of Israel to understand that if they want to do well and prosper in their life, they must embrace God and the words of His Covenant with all of their heart. Having done this, Moses then climbs mount Nebo to meet with God, knowing that he is going to die when he reaches the top of the mountain.

In this song we see that Moses has died and God has appointed Joshua as the new leader of Israel. It is now time for the Children of Israel to cross the river Jordan and begin to take possession of the land which God promised Abraham that He would give to Israel. The song then takes the listener through the fall of Jericho. The Children of Israel then cause Jericho’s mighty walls to come tumbling down by being obedient to God’s word.

This song explains how due to their unbelief, the Children of Israel had to spend 40 years wandering around in the wilderness.

In this song we see God calling Moses at the Burning Bush, and how Moses then leads the Children of Israel out of the bondage of slavery in Egypt.

Having left Egypt we see that the Children of Israel appear to be trapped between the Red Sea and the wilderness, but God works with Moses to open the waters of the Red Sea so that they are finally able to escape from Pharaoh and his army.

At this point on Israel’s journey towards the Promised Land, Moses climbs the mountain of God and receives the words of God’s Law, the 10 Commandments.

This song basically sets the biblical account of the flood in Genesis chapters 6-9 to music.

This song covers the Fall of Adam and Eve but it then goes on to consider how God sends Jesus Christ to earth, to deal with the sin which Adam and Eve introduced into mankind. The song concludes by considering how sinners in their pride arrogance and self-righteousness, are destroying the world of today and creating an increasingly dysfunctional society.

The symbol of a lighthouse can mean many different, inspiring principles. The main concept it represents is overcoming adversity and difficulties in life. All of us go through seasons in life where it feels like the adversity will never end. This music video represents the feeling of relief I feel when I realize I am going to get through the current trial and problems and I am feeling so grateful to Heavenly Father for the lessons learned.

The current lessons learned from my current adversities are as follows. Spread my net wide enough to “catch” new teachers to teach me the concepts to help me through the current storm. There are always people who have experienced much of the same trials that I am currently experiencing. They are often very open and willing to pass on to me coping strategies to make the situation bearable and a stepping stone to higher ground.

Another lesson is to keep up on my moral inventories of my day and my life so that I won’t fall back into the old patterns and coping mechanisms that are really ready to be discarded. I need to hold fast to new ways of functioning and most of all keep learning and growing.

A lighthouse usually spreads light over vast areas of darkness. If I am consistently learning and passing on the lessons to others, I can become a spiritual lighthouse to others who are struggling and holding on for one more day, week and onward for a lifetime on a similar journey that I have embarked on. Soon many lighthouses may dot an earlier dark horizon.
