This is my first Christian song from 1977. I had 40 or so preChristian songs - many of them searching for answers - and when the Lord opened Himself up to me, this was #1. I currently have 141 original Christian songs uploaded to YouTube and just found this site. Many of my songs are over the 500mb limit - but I hope to upload as many as I can in the coming time frame! No one likes to think of bad circumstances, but God does use them for the good and so this song touches on that with regard to the pandemic. Perhaps the most powerful and hopeful song to come out of the COVID-19, "Love Goes Viral" explores "the only thing that lasts" and how we were all in this together. The reference to "We see through a glass darkly," can be found in the First Epistle in Paul's letters to the Corinthians, in the New Testament. In the context of this song we are reminded that if we try to see through an obscure piece of glass, our vision will be clouded and imperfect. We can go through life avoiding truth, and honesty.
