"My Help"

In my distress I cried out to the Lord and He heard my plea.
Surrounded by darkness and burdened by sorrow, He rescued me.
Delivered my life from the wicked one,
leads me away from temptation.
He is not silent, He answers my call.
He is my strength when my faith is small.
