Stella Botha is the 6 year old daughter of Hennie and Jeana Botha (Ex South African Australians) now residing in Brisbane. The song Pie Jesu is classical opera and sung in Latin and is probably one of the more challenging Christmas choices out there - especially considering that it has no definitive timing/beat and has excessively long phrasing and breathing - making this quite a remarkable performance (apart from the Angelic voice) for a 6 year old. In my opinion right up there with Jackie Evancho (11yo) Pie Jesu - America’s got talent 2010 and Andrew Johnston (13yo) Pie Jesu – Britain’s got talent 2008 – but only halve their age.

The Carols were held over two nights (themed Peace) at Bray Park Community Church on the Northside of Brisbane. Stella (Grade 1) attends North Side Christian College in Everton Park.
