‘Joy To The World (Joyful, Joyful)’ Phil Wickham Live From The Chosen

One of the biggest names in Christian music, Phil Wickham, is joined by several other musicians as they all express utter joy and excitement over the Savior’s birth.

Several passages throughout the Old Testament foretold the birth of Jesus Christ. He was to come to save the people from their sins, forever changing the trajectory and direction of the world. Many were anxiously looking forward to that moment of the Savior’s birth, hoping to see the One sent by God to change everything.

So, on that most holy night, when Jesus Christ was born in a stable surrounded by barnyard animals, many were more than a little excited. The Savior, who would save men from their sins, had finally arrived! No other song expresses the joy many had to have felt that evening following the baby boy’s arrival quite like “Joy to World.”

In a clip posted on YouTube, Phil Wickham and a few of his closest friends come together for an inspiring, upbeat and joy-filled performance to sing about that moment that changed everything for all. Christ has arrived and they will shout the good news for all to hear!

“Joy to the world, the Lord is come
Let Earth receive her King
Let every heart prepare Him room
And Heaven and nature sing
And Heaven and nature sing
And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing”

Christmas is a season full of happiness and joy for this reason alone: Jesus Christ, the Savior, has arrived. Many people gather with friends and family and participate in annual traditions and activities. But all the presents, food, movies and Christmas songs ring hollow if those celebrations are not ultimately about Christ’s birth in that Bethlehem stable all those years ago.

No other birth has meant so much to the entire world, and no other birth ever will.

Joy to the world, indeed!

Matthew 1:23 “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”

‘O Little Town Of Bethlehem’ Pentatonix You Log Edition

The popular and Grammy Award-winning vocalist group Pentatonix joined forces with a legendary entertainer for a beautiful and pitch-perfect rendition of the beloved Christmas song, “O Little Town of Bethlehem.”

The biblical story of Christ’s birth is not only about God sending a Savior to the world, but it’s also one about obedience and faith. Many of the characters, from Mary and Joseph to the shepherds, demonstrated a large amount of faith by relying upon the guidance and direction of God despite their fear, worry and anxiety.

The story also shows the lengths God was willing to go to save man from their sins and how far He went. Instead of being delivered by a queen in a palace located in a massive, expansive city, God went the other direction, a very unexpected route. He sent his one and only Son to be born by a scared, frightened virgin in a stable located in a lowly, forgettable little town.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Pentatonix, along with Elvis Presley, sings about the little, unexceptional town where the Savior of the world was born. It’s a delightful, lovely cover of the track, which retells the events of that most holy night when Christ entered the world, forever changing the world.

“For Christ is born of Mary
And gathered all above
While mortals sleep, the angels keep
Their watch of wondering love”

Not only is the latest from Pentatonix a lovely cover of a Christmas favorite, incorporating the voice of Elvis Presley, but the video is also a sight to behold. The video, all 2 minutes and 40 seconds, is a static shot of a picturesque Christmas scene.

Fire burns and crackles in the fireplace as five stockings hang above. A handful of perfectly wrapped presents, two large ornamental candy canes and a gorgeously and intricately decorated tree are also present, creating a scene that appears to have been ripped right out of a Hollywood Christmas-themed film.

Luke 2:7 “And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.”

Choir Of Children Perform ‘All Because Of Him’ New Christmas Hymn

A group of youngsters gave an inspired and emotional performance of a Christmas song about the real meaning and reason for the entire season.

The Christmas season is a wonderful time of year, a statement that is likely to get near 100 percent agreement. It’s a time filled with friends, family, gatherings, gift exchanges and entirely too much food. What is there not to love about all of that? But with so much going on, and with the number of obligations and requirements increasing dramatically during Christmas, it’s easy to get caught up and forget the meaning of all the celebrations and festivities.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a choir of immensely gifted children sing “All Because of Him.” It’s a beautifully written new Christmas song that reminds listeners about that night in a stable in Bethlehem when a baby boy arrived, forever changing the course of history and giving hope to a lost world.

Without the birth of Christ, all the gifts, parties and meals surrounding the Christmas season would be pointless. But thankfully, God sent His one and only Son into the world for our sake. It was a move of love and mercy. As the song correctly states, “No other babe born on earth would change everything for us.”

Because of the baby boy’s birth and His eventual excruciating death on that cross a mere 33 years later, all now have a chance at everlasting life with Him.

“There is strength for the battle
And love that never dims
Hope for a better world
All because of Him”

Gatherings with family and friends, exchanging gifts, singing festive, Christmas-themed songs and sharing a meal or two together are great and terrific ways to spend the holiday season. But we must never forget the real meaning and reason for the season because it’s “all because of Him.”

Luke 2:7 “And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.”

A Cappella Choirs Sing 'We Need A Little Christmas'

A Cappella Choir sings ‘We Need A Little Christmas’ and you don’t want to miss this rendition.

The popular Christmas song is originally from the1966 Broadway musical ‘Mame.’ The music group Voctave picked up the song and recreated it with their sensational and harmonizing octaves. They hit each note with passionate precision and you can’t help but sing along. Voctave is an 11-member a cappella group that was formed to create music from Disney and he posted it to YouTube.

They quickly gained popularity and they formally created the band Voctave. Today the group sings a wide variety of music from Disney, jazz, Broadway, and Christmas music. Formed in 2015, they’ve been blessed to share their talent worldwide.

Dressed in their favorite Christmas sweaters and full of pep, you can’t help but smile and wonder if isn’t too early to deck the halls and pull out the holly. This group will take you back to the moment in your heart when Christmas feels magical and hopeful.

I’m ready to pull out the Christmas tree and put up the manger scene. I want to usher in the season that is full of warmth, merriness, and joy as we anticipate the day Jesus came into this world.

For we need a little music, need a little laughter
Need a little singing ringing through the rafter
And we need a little snappy, happy ever after
We need a little Christmas now

Just listen as this 11-member crew belts out the powerful words that remind of us the goodness and cheer of the Christmas season. And can you believe there are absolutely no instruments used in this song? The way these talented musicians sing together so flawlessly is beyond remarkable.

Music is a powerful way to rejoice and praise the Lord’s glorious gift of Jesus to save mankind in a fallen world. Let us rejoice and celebrate the Christmas story of Jesus' birth with Christmas songs and carols. We hope you enjoyed this enlightening song about the Christmas season.

Isaiah 9:6 "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

‘Mary, Did You Know?’ Wynonna Judd Christmas Performance

A country music legend, Wynonna Judd, turned in a beautifully stunning performance of a classic Christmas tune, “Mary, Did You Know?”

There are hundreds of Christmas songs that become mighty repetitive and worn out by the time Christmas Day rolls around every year. From secular to religious, those songs cover a variety of topics, subjects and figures. Several tunes mention an old and jolly overweight man who dresses up in red and then spends Christmas Eve sneaking into houses. Other songs talk about reindeer, the frightful weather and chestnuts cooking atop an open flame.

However, few mention Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ, the woman who gave birth to the Son of God in a lowly manger all those years ago. In a clip posted on YouTube, Wynonna delivers an outstanding performance of “Mary, Did You Know?”

The song is basically a series of questions, with the singer asking Mary what she knew and when. The track poses the questions, asking if Mary understood the magnitude of that birth and her child. Did she know her baby boy would grow up to change the world, saving man from his sins?

“Did you know that your baby boy
Has come to make you new?
This child that you delivered, will soon deliver you”

Mary was a young woman entrusted with a tremendous amount of responsibility. God even sent one of His angels to inform Mary about the massive, world-changing task ahead of her. While an angel of God told her about her yet-to-be-born child, there is no way she could have ever fully understood, at that moment, what His birth would mean for all of humanity.

“Mary, Did You Know?” is a beautifully written song that emphasizes the importance of and the world-altering mission of the baby boy born to a virgin in a manger by asking Mary several pointed and direct questions.

Luke 1:38 “And Mary said, ‘Behold, the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.”

Sara Evans And Daughter Sing ‘O Holy Night’ Christmas Duet

A country music star and her daughter combined their beautiful voices, making for a stunning duet as they performed a beloved Christmas classic.

Christmas is a terrific season, full of smiles, hugs, gift-giving, family gatherings and usually, an obscene amount of food. Sure, all of that helps to make the Christmas season a wonderful time of year, but without the birth of Christ, the Savior, it would all be completely meaningless.

Sara Evans and her talented daughter, Olivia, remind listeners and viewers about the real meaning behind all the celebrations, the gifts and the food. The mother-daughter duo takes the festively decorated stage together for a lovely rendition of the timeless Christmas classic, “O Holy Night.”

“O Holy night! The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Savior’s birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
‘Till He appears, and the soul felt its worth”

The performance is a duet, with both lending their voices, belting out the lyrics about the world-changing evening when Jesus Christ made his much-anticipated entrance. However, Sara, a much more experienced and seasoned performer, shoulders most of the singing duties.

It's clear the talent in the family did not stop with Sara. Olivia does have an outstanding voice, but her mother does outshine her daughter, singing out considerably louder than her daughter.

Regardless of who does what and who is heard more and longer in the song, Sara and Olivia are using their considerable platform to sing about and spread the real reason for the season: the birth of Jesus Christ. Before Christ entered the world, taking our place and dying on the cross, all were lost and without hope. Christ’s birth in that manger all those years ago changed everything.

Like the lyrics the two talented ladies sing, their performance is also beautiful. It’s a rendition that is more than deserving of several listens and views.

Luke 2:7 “And she had her first son; and folding him in linen, she put him to rest in the place where the cattle had their food, because there was no room for them in the house.”
