VSR music group artist Brian Weaver's songs reflect hope, joy, struggle, and overcoming the storms of life through a victorious walk with the Savior. Brian says emphatically. "We can either have a negative approach to what happens in life, getting upset at the situation, or we can have a positive approach and realize that if we fall in life we fall into the hands of a Savior. In our weakness, He is strong; what a powerful place to be!" On songs like "Rain or Shine" Brian shares, "I wrote this song after hearing my pastor say, 'When it rains in life, do you sit inside and hide out? Or do you go out and dance in the rain?' The idea behind this statement was the mentality we should have when storms arise in our life." Indeed, and this album clearly shares that hope and inspiration.

For all my life I had heard that St. Patrick's Day celebrations were all about four leaf clovers, wearing green, leprechauns and drinking alcohol. I was so excited to hear his real life story.

It is not Bob Marley, we are not sporting dreadlocks or getting into Rastafarianism but we can take you away in spirit on Caribbean get away to the sandy beaches of Jamaica.
Come along with Morning Song spokesman, Stuart Payne as he invites you and your children to get into the spirit as together you learn "Children Obey Your Parents". Ephesians 6:1 can help implant the Word of God into their hearts as they enjoy the carefree sounds of Caribbean.
You may get the feeling that the Spring Break beach party background noises were created in the warm summer sunshine. To the contrary we recorded in early February in the cold Kentucky winter. We tried recording in studio but found the indoor reverberation to betray the feel of the song, so out into the snow we ventured, adults and children alike to get the authentic outdoor feel.
This was the first time recording for young lead vocalist 9 year old Kharris Barbour, and 6 year old Kerri Barbour who were joined by their father- Tony Barbour as well as friend of Morning Song, Stewart Payne.

"I'm Reaching for You" Here's a love song to you from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Written and sung by Joanne Scott of Morning Song Productions, she owes the creative arranging, orchestration, instrumentation to her husband Steve, who put the song together for her as an act of devotion to her. The space ships sounds and special effects were created with a Yamaha Motif and recorded on a Tascam 24-88. Joanne wrote the song several months before hearing the song "Reach" by Peter Furler, former lead singer of the Newsboys.
My song "I'm Reaching for You" was written from the perspective of the Lord Jesus, who reaches out in love and humility to all sinners.
"I thought of Him with His hand stretched out on the cross and was taken by the thought of how He loved us enough to submit Himself to the thought of how much He loved. He was reaching for us," explains Joanne.
"I recall some of the most despairing moments of my life. I cried out in desparation to Him. He was always there with me all along the way, reaching for me and waiting for me to reach back."
