You and I are sinners, having willingly turned our backs on Christ and His commands and teachings. The Bible says that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Instead of choosing Him and adhering to His words, we thought our way was a much better alternative. Doing that and acting in such a manner is sin—willful disobedience.
 
However, even though we turned away from Him and chose our own way, He still offers forgiveness and love. Grace, mercy, love and salvation are freely offered to all who call upon His name and earnestly seek Him. Because of Him, we can be forgiven of sins and have salvation. That is a victory that is only possible because of and in Jesus Christ.
 
In a clip posted on YouTube, Mac performs “Victory in Jesus.” It’s a well-known and beloved tune about Christ’s loving and ultimate sacrifice on the cross. His blood, which was spilled for you and me, makes that victory possible to all.
 
“I heard an old, old story, how a Savior came from glory
How He gave His life on Calvary to save a wretch like me
I heard about His groaning, of His precious blood’s atoning
Then I repented of my sins, and won the victory, yeah”
 
No matter how many times you may have heard that song, and recited those lyrics, “Victory in Jesus” is a tune that will never get old and tired. It will always be an emotional tune to many as the song makes clear what Christ willingly did for us. While we were still sinners, Christ gave Himself up and died for all.
 
1 Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

An uplifting anthem from the Housefires declares, “Victory on the Way.” The incredibly talented and popular contemporary Christian music band performed a dazzling live rendition of the tune about Christ defeating sin, shame and death. We live in a lost and fallen world, and the havoc and destruction brought about by sin are visible everywhere we look and turn. Unfortunately, another byproduct of man's sin and disobedience is that pain, agony and heartache are part of our everyday lives. As long as we are on Earth, that will, sadly, forever be true and something we’ll experience in one form or another.

There will be times when we’ll experience deep, dark, pain-filled valleys. The hurt and heartache may get so intense and overwhelming that doubts will start to creep in, and you might even start to question God. When will this ever end? But through it all, God is faithful; if we hold on, there will surely be a victory on the other side.

The Housefires’ song “Victory on the Way" describes this exact situation. The lyrics mention the trials and difficulties we face throughout life and how they might even cause us to second-guess God. Despite our lack of faith in those moments, He is forever and always faithful. He has already won the victory and defeated sin and death.

“I know that you carry me through every fire
Through the darkest valley, and you never tire
When I feel left dead, You are my saving grace
There’s always a victory on the way”

Even during life’s roughest storms and darkest hours, God is faithful and loving, always remaining by our side. What do we have to fear and be concerned about when He has already won the battle?

John 16:33 “I have said all these things to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world, you have trouble, but take heart! I have overcome the world.”

There’s a song that doesn’t just play–it pours. It spills over, rushing into the cracks of your heart like rain on parched ground. Micah Tyler’s official lyric video for ‘God Did It’ lifts your soul and reminds us of the One who holds every miracle. It’s the kind of song that makes you close your eyes and feel it deep–the kind of truth that pulls you into praise and worship even when life feels heavy. 

Isn’t that the truth we need most on the most challenging days? The days when you’ve tried everything and still can’t part the waters. These are the days when your strength feels like a thread unraveling, and all you can do is whisper His name. And then this song comes along and declares it boldly for you: God did it. The breath in your lungs? He gave it. The freedom you walk in? He made it. The grace that keeps carrying you? That’s Him too.

There’s a line in the song that feels like a holy pause: “It had to be someone else, and there’s only one who’s getting all of the credit.” Yes, Lord. Only You.

Every heartbeat, every answered prayer, every impossible way made possible–this is who our Savoir is. As the melody rises, you can’t help but feel the truth settle: His mercy rewrites every story, and His hands rebuild every broken wall. 

And maybe you’ll find yourself smiling, singing, and swaying to the beat because how can you stay still when you remember all that He has done for you? Micah sings it with such raw gratitude, and you can’t help but echo it: “To God be the glory. For all He has done.” 

So let it play, let it remind you, let it move you. Because the truth is, He’s the same God who did it yesterday and will do it again today. And even now, in this very moment, He is doing what only He can do. God did it. He always does.

A group of young women delivered a soul-stirring a cappella cover of MeryMe’s “Even If.” The ladies fully displayed their immense musical gifts with this outstanding, awe-inspiring performance. Watch the video to hear and watch them praise and worship the Lord. After hearing their absolutely heavenly cover, you’ll be glad you did.

There are many instruments in existence that aid musicians in creating sound. You are most likely very familiar with some of them, like the guitar, the piano, the trumpet and the tuba. When it comes to others, you will probably have a much tougher time identifying them.

Either way, whether you can name the instrument or not, they can all be used to make beautiful, soothing and comforting sounds. However, as great and helpful as those tools for creating sound are, there is one they will never top: the human voice.

The human voice is, without question, the most beautiful and versatile instrument known to man, and that’s because God himself created it. In a clip posted on YouTube, a group of young women perfectly demonstrate the beauty the human voice is capable of. Their vocal performances are otherworldly, simply breathtaking.

Much like the performances in the short clip, the song’s lyrics are powerful and moving. “Even If,” a song by the beloved group MercyMe, is about putting one’s faith and trust in the Lord. Even if He doesn’t answer a prayer or a need as we would like, He remains our only reason for hope and a future. 

“I know You’re able, and I know You can
Save through the fire with Your mighty hand
But even if You don’t
My hope is You alone”

Christ is loving and faithful, having never let us down before. There is no reason to believe that He will begin doing so now.

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, a conviction of things not seen.”

A worship team delivered a chilling “Christ Be Magnified” performance. The talented group of musicians put their abilities on display, using their gifts to bring glory and honor to His name. Watch the clip to hear and watch the praise and worship team’s stunning rendition of this beloved tune.
 
Without Christ, none of us would have a chance. We would all be lost and destined to be separated from Him for all eternity. But because of His immense, unending and confounding love and grace, we can be forgiven and cleansed of our sins.
 
Because of what He did on the cross - suffering and dying in our place and on our behalf -  forgiveness is possible. We do have hope and a future. Those who earnestly seek Him and ask for forgiveness will gain entrance into Heaven after their time on Earth is over and done.
 
For all that Christ has done for you and me, He deserves all praise, honor and glory. We are to sing and shout His praises aloud for all to hear. We are also supposed to exemplify Him to a dying and lost world through our actions and lives. We are called to be His hands and feet to others, showing them love and care. Individuals may not listen to the words we speak, but they are watching our actions and whether they align with what we profess.
 
In a clip posted on YouTube, First Baptist Clarksville Church’s praise and worship beautifully performs a popular tune about just that: “Christ Be Magnified.” The song’s lyrics are simple but still so powerful and moving.
 
“Christ be magnified in me
Oh! Christ be magnified
From the altar of my life
Christ be magnified in me”
 
What an absolutely wonderful performance of a tune that means so much to so many. This is one rendition that deserves to be listened to repeatedly.
