William Murphy’s ‘It Is Well’ Performance Will Give You Chills

William Murphy’s ‘It Is Well’ performance will give you chills and leave you reflecting on God’s peace. William and his choir’s praise sounds wonderful, strong, and sweet. Watch the video to see and hear the beautiful act of worship.

Performing artist and pastor William Murphy and his singing group launch into nearly 10 minutes of music in their performance of ‘It Is Well.’ It’s the most lively and soul-filled cover of the song that you’re likely to ever hear, with long vibrato-filled notes and improvised add-ins. Partway through the performance, William combines preaching and singing as he dances across the stage and riles up the crowd.

The hymn can often take a very somber tone when it's performed in the typical way, but William’s version fills it with excitement, peace, joy, and hope. His performance says, “It is well with my soul, and I’m excited about it because I have full trust in God that he is with me.” Some of the lyrics William makes lively are:

It is well with my soul!
It is well, it is well with my soul!
It is well with my soul!
It is well, it is well with my soul!

The hymn has an incredible background. Horatio Spafford wrote the song in 1873, after his four daughters drowned in a voyage to England. His wife sent him a message: “Saved alone. What shall I do?” He headed to England and wrote the hymn as he passed over the spot where the shipwreck occurred. He lost a fortune in the Great Chicago Fire just two years prior. Horatio had many tragedies and even lost his four-year-old son to scarlet fever a few years later, but his trust in God never wavered. Despite everything, he would say, “It is well with my soul.”

“These things I have spoken to you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16: 33

‘The 99’ by Mac Powell Reminds Us No One Is Ever Too Far Gone

The song “The 99” by Mac Powell reminds us that no one is ever too far gone. The official music video for the beautiful song about Christ’s love, mercy and grace has been released. Watch the short clip to listen to and see the official music video for “The 99.”

Everyone is a sinner who needs to be brought back into a right relationship with Him. On this point, the Bible is completely clear where it stands, leaving no room to be interpreted in any other possible way. Romans 3:23 states that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. However, thankfully for us, that is not where things end.

The very next verse, Romans 3:24, mentions that even though we may be sinners, we can be forgiven only because of His grace and experience salvation, which is only available and found in Jesus Christ. Because of His love, He made a way for sinners to be forgiven and redeemed. And because of His love, He will never stop chasing after the lost. Even if the 99 may be saved, He will always remain concerned for and chase after the one.

In the official music video for his tune “The 99,” Mac reinforces the idea that God is constantly reaching out and running after the one. While our sin may be greater, the Lord’s grace and love will always be greater. There is nowhere we could go or anything we could do to escape His love.

“I know You left the 99 to come and rescue me
When I had wandered way too far from where I’m supposed to be
There ain’t no one too far gone, oh Jesus, I believe
‘Cause I know You left the 99 to come and rescue me”

Those lyrics perfectly describe the powerful, loving, faithful and merciful God we serve.

Revelation 3:20 “See, I am waiting at the door and giving the sign; if my voice comes to any man’s ears and he makes the door open, I will come in to him and will take food with him and he with me.”

Jeremy Rosado Moves Hearts with Powerful ‘When I Meet Jesus’ Music Video

Jeremy Rosado moves hearts with his powerful “When I Meet Jesus” music video. This tune from the former American Idol contestant is one that deserves to be listened to repeatedly. Watch the short clip to hear and see Jeremy Rosado perform “When I Meet Jesus” in the song’s official music video.

No one alive on Earth right now will still be here 150 years from now. Honestly, the likelihood of someone even making it to 100 years old is pretty slim. Sure, with technological advances and breakthroughs in the medical field, people are living longer than before. But the point remains: no one will stay on this Earth for eternity.

Death is something that all will experience at one time or another, and when that time comes, there are only two destinations. One is eternal, everlasting life with Him, while the other is one of complete separation and damnation, where there is much weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Heaven is the goal for every Christian; that is what we are all striving for and working toward. In “When I Meet Jesus,” Jeremy sings about those wondrous and marvelous first few moments when He finally meets his Lord and Savior. It’s hard to describe what such an encounter might look and feel like, but Jeremy’s beautifully written words do a tremendous job of doing so.

“When I meet Jesus
I’ll be home and there to stay, when He tells me
Well done, My good and faithful servant
You are loved; you were worth it”

What powerful, moving words. We all hope to hear those words one day, that we have run the good race and He is well pleased. If Jeremy’s lyrics don’t give you goosebumps or send a chill down your spine, I’m not sure anything will.

John 14:2 “In my Father’s house are rooms enough; if it were not so, would I have said that I am going to make ready a place for you?”

The Petersens Deliver Moving Live Cover of ‘Jesus, Strong and Kind’

Christian family bluegrass band The Petersens recently delivered a moving live cover of ‘Jesus, Strong and Kind’ in a YouTube performance. The family sings with Australian artist Colin Buchanan, the song’s author, in a relaxed and peaceful setting before they go on stage in front of a crowd. Watch the clip to see the humble performance.

“We had an opening act for our Australia shows and Colin Buchanan was THE most fun person to travel with,” the family said. “He wrote this song with CityAlight, and we loved learning and covering it with him backstage before our last show.”

“Jesus, Strong and Kind” is a wonderful song that’s written in the reflection of Jesus’ countenance. Some of the lyrics are:

For the Lord is good and faithful
He will keep us day and night
We can always run to Jesus
Jesus, strong and kind

The song highlights how Jesus sustains; he is a rock that everyone can rely on. He is completely irreplaceable.

Each of the six Petersens plays a different instrument, and several of them harmonize with Colin as he leads them in song. The song sounds divine and lovely with all of the lovely string instruments. This kind of song is a far cry from one of those modern worship performances that can often be drowned out with drums and flashing lights; it’s still and slower, but gives God just as much praise.

This song will undoubtedly fill your heart with peace and calm your spirit. It is such a beautiful reminder that no matter what we face, Jesus remains the same. We can always run to him.

“The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.” Psalms 18:2

Brandon Lake and CeCe Winans Must-See 'I Know a Name' Performance Video

Brandon Lake and CeCe Winans’ must-see ‘I Know A Name’ performance video recently caught my eye on YouTube and gave me chills. There is something so powerful and captivating about watching these two worship giants sing together that you can almost see God’s fingerprints all over their passion and purpose. It feels as though they were born for this moment, and we as fans were made for this kind of encouragement in the middle of our struggles.

This song is exactly what you need when life feels heavy—the kind of anthem that helps you stay faithful and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus no matter how tough the road gets. It’s like a cool glass of lemonade on a hot day, a refreshing reminder that God isn't finished yet, no matter how hard things are. Brandon opens with a bold declaration:

“I know a name that can silence the roaring waves
I know a name that can empty out a grave I know a name
It’s the only name that saves and it’s worthy of all praise.”

Their voices blend beautifully on the chorus as they call on Jesus as Healer and Savior, risen and reigning in power. CeCe’s powerful vocals flow seamlessly alongside Brandon’s as they remind us of the King who holds dominion over death, whose holy nail-scarred hands have crushed the serpent’s head. The refrain—“Chains break, dry bones wake, the gates of hell shake every time I call Your name”—is a stirring reminder of Jesus’ authority and victory.

Watching this performance feels less like entertainment and more like a God whispered moment of love, as they sing that dead things come alive in the name of Jesus. No matter how hopeless a situation seems, life and hope break through when we call on His name. The bridge echoes this victorious truth:

“Where, oh death, is now your sting? And where, oh grave, your victory?”

If you haven’t seen Brandon and CeCe’ ‘I Know A Name’ sing this song, make sure to watch it—it will stir your soul, strengthen your faith, and remind you that Jesus is worthy of all praise, holding power over every situation.

Remember the name above all names when life feels overwhelming, and let this song bring you back to hope, strength, and victory. Share it with a friend who needs this reminder today, too!

"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:37-39

Ben Rector and Mat Kearney ‘Praying for Me’ Music Video

Ben Rector and Mat Kearney’s ‘Praying for Me’ music video is the kind of pure joy and heartfelt fun you didn’t know you needed today—so let’s just say it: you’ve got to see this. Mat Kearney has been one of my all-time favorite music artists. He is so down-to-earth, and his music applies to every part of my life. I love how he teamed up with Ben and created a touching, faith-filled music video that’s also absolutely hilarious.

The video kicks off with Ben joking that he’s about to hit the open road with his buddy Mat—but instead of a real road trip, the camera pans to a behind-the-scenes shot of Mat sitting in a parked car in a music studio with a giant green screen behind him. Cue the laughter. It gets even better when Mat flips down the sun visor and checks himself out in the mirror, shaping his eyebrows like a man on a serious mission. These two know how to laugh at themselves while still delivering something meaningful—and that’s exactly what makes this video so special.

While the visuals are playful and heartfelt, the song itself is tender and deeply moving. The song is a heartfelt tribute to the people who have carried us in prayer—those behind-the-scenes warriors who whisper our names to heaven when we don’t even know it. It’ll have you thinking about your mama’s bedtime prayers, the friend who sent you that random “thinking of you” text at just the right time, or the sweet widow from church who never forgets a birthday and always hugs with both arms and her whole heart.

The lyrics are packed with gratitude and grace, gently reminding us that we’re never walking alone. It’s the kind of song that makes you pause mid-scroll, smile, and maybe even tear up a little. You’ll find yourself whispering, “Bless them, Lord,” for every person who ever prayed for you through a hard season. And it will steal your faith to continue to pray for the ones God has laid on your heart.

Ben and Mat bring the perfect mix of sincerity and silliness in this video, and it works beautifully. The green screen gags will make you laugh, but the message will stay with you long after the music fades. It’s music with soul, laughter with heart, and the kind of encouragement we all need on this wild ride called life.

So grab your coffee, click play, and enjoy the best faux road trip you’ll ever take—because ‘Praying for Me’ is  a reminder that grace finds us through the prayers of others, and joy is often just one Mat-and-Ben moment away.

“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”  James 5:16

Group's Beautiful 'How Great Thou Art' Rendition

You don’t want to miss this group's beautiful ‘How Great Thou Art’ rendition. In the most wonderful of backdrops with an old-time feel, you’ll surely be recalling this song for days to come. Watch the video to see the wonderful act of praise.

The Burnett Sisters Band performed ‘How Great Thou Art’ at St. Mary the Virgin Church in Minster, England, which was established in 670 AD. The band performs the hymn in the grass in front of the grey stones as the church bell tolls. With a low and slow country rhythm, the members harmonize while playing a medley of guitar, two fiddles, bass, and a banjo.

The band seems so peaceful and unrushed as they play in the quaint and beautiful setting. Their demeanor matches the cadence of the song, which sings respectful lyrics to God. Some of the words are:

He bled and died to take away my sin!
Then sings my soul,
My Savior God, to Thee;
How great Thou art

“How Great Thou Art is a solemn and sweet hymn that acknowledges God’s sacrifice and how awesome he is, the creator of our universe. The writer addresses God from their “soul,” giving honor to how “great” He is. It also talks of the joy of coming home to God in heaven one day, and that the praise for Him will never stop.

Though the words used are old, and it’s not how we would phrase our thoughts in modern times, it’s refreshing to see this more antiquated worship expressed in a different way.

But no matter the time or song, one thing is for sure—God is always a great God, and his goodness will last forever.

“Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.” Psalms 145:3

Beautiful ‘This Is The Day’ A Cappella Performance Will Brighten Yours

This beautiful a cappella performance of “This Is the Day” will brighten yours. The incredibly talented group of vocalists turned in an awe-inspiring and goosebumps-inducing cover of the classic hymn. Watch the short but jaw-dropping clip to listen to the young men perform a hymn that is near and dear to the hearts of many: “This is the Day.”

Hymns are a far superior genre and style when it comes to music heard in and performed at church, which has been well established. Contemporary Christian music is excellent, with many talented musicians producing a wellspring of truly wonderful and fantastic tunes about faith, Christ, His love, faithfulness and mercy.

However, nothing will ever top hymns, a statement with which most people will wholeheartedly agree. The feeling and emotion contained in those beautifully written lyrics are unlike 99 percent of contemporary Christian music. “Great is Thy Faithfulness", "How Great Thou Art” and “Amazing Grace" are all beloved classics, unable to ever be bested.

Another classic hymn that will never be topped, and the guys from Kings Return knock it out of the park, is “This is the Day.” Their a cappella cover is stunning, and the guys demonstrate their absurd amount of musical talent. They use nothing but their own, God-given instruments, their voices, to produce the wonderful sounds we’re hearing in the short but powerful clip.

Yes, this is a tune that we’re all undoubtedly more than familiar with, but it’s one that will never get old or tired. You’ll immediately find yourself singing or humming along whenever you hear it, and that is especially true given Kings Return’s stunning version here.

“This is the day that the Lord has made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
This is the day
This is the day that the Lord has made”

Who could ever get tired of hearing those uplifting, encouraging and joyful lyrics?

Psalm 118:24 “This is the day which the Lord has made; we will be full of joy and delight in it.”

Gary and Nita Talley Deliver Beautiful ‘Jesus Loves Me’ Rendition

Gary and Nita Talley delivered a beautiful rendition of “Jesus Loves Me.” The mother-son duo performed the classic tune about the unending and unbelievable love of Jesus Christ. Watch the short but heartwarming clip to listen to and see Gary and Nita Talley sing “Jesus Loves Me.”

If not for the love of Jesus Christ, all would be lost and destined for eternal damnation and separation from Him forever, where there would be much weeping and gnashing of teeth. But praise His name that does not have to be our fate. All can be forgiven of their sins and can experience eternal life with Him in heaven.

Forgiveness and eternal life are only possible because of His ultimate sacrifice on the cross, where He took the sins of humanity upon Himself, suffering, bleeding and dying. It was the ultimate act of love. As the Bible mentions, Christ demonstrated his immense and overwhelming love for us in this way: when we were still sinners, He gave up His life for us.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Gary and Nita sing “Jesus Loves Me,” a familiar and beloved song about His love. Yes, the song is nearly universally known, but that still does not lessen the fact that it is full of truth. Christ loves you and me more than we could ever know or understand. What else, but love, could have caused and driven Him to willingly endure such an undeserved and unwarranted brutal punishment and prolonged torture?

“Jesus loves me, this I know
For the Bible tells me so
Little ones to him belong
They are weak, but he is strong”

And His love endures forever. There is nothing that we could do or anywhere we could go that would change that fact. Christ’s love for us will always remain.

Romans 5:8 “But God has made clear his love to us, in that, when we were still sinners, Christ gave his life for us.”

Lauren Daigle's 'You Say' Gets Chillingly Beautiful Cover from Street Performer

Lauren Daigle's "You Say" got a chillingly beautiful cover from a street performer. It's such a terrific and expertly performed rendition that you'll likely find yourself returning to it repeatedly. Watch the short but awe-inspiring clip to listen to and see the young woman perform "You Say."

Christian music is full of incredibly talented artists who continually produce catchy, uplifting and encouraging songs about faith and Jesus Christ. Every few weeks, another song from someone like MercyMe, Chris Tomlin, Anne Wilson or TobyMac is released that seems destined to become a classic. Once you hear those songs, getting them out of your head can be difficult.

However, as full of talent as the contemporary Christian music world is, within the last 10 years or so, no song has reached the heights of Lauren Daigle's "You Say." It's universally known and beloved, having gotten a ton of play on pop radio. It's also probably one of that period's most played and covered songs. In a clip posted on YouTube, another young woman, Allie Sherlock, covers "You Say," and she knocks it out of the park!

Allie beautifully performs Lauren's classic about turning to and finding one's identity and worth in Jesus Christ. She uses her musical gifts to bless the sizable crowd that has stopped to hear her and those passing by.

"You say I am loved when I can't feel a thing
You say I am strong when I think I am weak
And You say I am held when I am falling short
And when I don't belong, oh, You say I am Yours"

In addition to Lauren's terrific performance and the powerful lyrics, the biggest reason the song has become a classic is that everyone can identify with it. All, at one time or another, have come to a point where they feel worthless and unloved, and God was there to offer His love, mercy, grace and protection.

Colossians 3:16 "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."
