Matthew West Brings Holiday Cheer with ‘Joy to the World’ Lyric Video

Are you ready for this? Christmas is coming a little early as Matthew West brings holiday cheer with ‘Joy to the World’ in this lovely lyric video. It might still be early fall with leaves just starting to turn, pumpkins showing up on porches, but when Matthew West sings this song, it feels like Christmas already slipped softly through the door and filled the room with light.

And honestly? We can listen to Christmas music anytime we want. Maybe we should. Because there’s something about those familiar melodies about hearing “the Lord is come” that stirs joy deep down in our souls. It reminds us who we are: sons and daughters of a God who came near.

In his beautiful new lyric video, Matthew brings fresh life to this treasured song. His voice lifts like a prayer — steady, bright, overflowing with awe. The scenes glimmer with peace, a gentle reminder that joy isn’t just a holiday emotion; we can feel it all year long.

As one listener wrote, “Lord… show your glory this Christmas for this humble servant. Be exalted, Jesus Christ.”

Another shared, “Can’t wait for Christmas! I’m going back to church for the first time in seven years.”
What a beautiful ripple — that a song could stir courage, hope, and the longing to return home to faith.

There’s laughter in the comments, too. “Lord help us all, ain’t it the truth! Outstanding again. My new favorite Christmas album!”

And maybe that’s what we all need this fall, a song that reminds us joy isn’t seasonal. It’s sacred.

So, go ahead and play the song. Let it fill your kitchen as you make dinner, hum it in the car, send it to a friend who needs to smile today. Because this version of “Joy to the World” doesn’t just celebrate Christmas — it celebrates the unshakable joy of belonging to Jesus.

Add it to your playlist. Share it widely. Let joy roll through your heart like a carol that never fades. Because even when it’s not December, Christ has come — and that’s reason enough to sing.

Nehemiah 8:10 “The joy of the Lord is your strength.”

'O Little Town of Bethlehem’ Shines in Matthew West’s Lyric Video

Listen to Matthew West’s rendition of the Christmas classic ‘O Little Town of Bethlehem’ and be uplifted by the joy and hope that this music brings. This version of the song is included in Matthew West’s new Christmas album titled Come Home For Christmas. The album is a blend of his signature storytelling style with themes of faith, family, and what truly matters during the holidays.

‘O little town of Bethlehem, how still we see thee lie
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep, the silent stars go by
Yet in thy dark streets shineth, the everlasting Light
The hopes and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight’

Such a beautiful song to get into the Christmas spirit! Matthew West just released his Christmas album, Come Home For Christmas, and he shared about why the album is so special to him.

“My family and I love the Christmas season and listen to Christmas music around the clock all through the holidays,” Matthew West said. “Come Home For Christmas is a special record to me. I got to record my versions of some of the classics and also write a few new ones. I hope this collection of songs can be a soundtrack for the Christmas season and a reminder that the invitation is extended to all of us to come home to the true meaning of Christmas.”

The Christmas album includes 8 tracks, with 4 of them being Christmas classics reimagined through Matthew West's lens. There are also originals like the relatable and humorous ‘Dysfunctional Family Christmas’ and his 2020 fan-favorite ‘Gobble Gobble,’ now revived in a new kids' version.

We hope you enjoyed this rendition of ‘O Little Town of Bethlehem’ from Matthew West today! And be sure to check out his new Christmas album, which offers a warm, nostalgic invitation to return to the true meaning of the season.

TobyMac Drops ‘Heaven On My Mind’ Official Music Video

Check out TobyMac’s new music video for his song ‘Heaven On My Mind.’ The song is great, and the lyrics and music video serve as a poignant reminder of all the beautiful things that await us in heaven. We hope you’re encouraged by the song today!

‘I got Heaven on my mind, I got people waitin' by
Close my eyes and I can see dancin' on them golden streets
Got me dreamin' of the day, never leave, we get to stay
'Til I see that welcome sign, I ain't еven gonna lie, I got Heaven on my mind’

Sometimes we can get caught up in the trials of this world and the heartache that can come our way in life. Back in 2022, TobyMac released his album Life After Death, which came from the singer-songwriter wrestling with the emotional turmoil that followed the death of his 21-year-old son, Truett. Three years later, TobyMac released his next album titled Heaven On My Mind.

“My last record was just facing things no one should have to face…the deepest, heart-crushing you could ever have in losing my first-born son, but I felt like this record was me gaining my footing a bit. Realizing, ‘Okay, I can breathe, and I can get my fist up in the air about things I believe in,’” said TobyMac.

When talking about the title track, TobyMac shared: “‘Heaven On My Mind’ is this journey of going from total ashes to crawling to walking to standing up. It was me figuring out how to relate to God again, leading to all these questions, and ultimately something beautiful. I have a deeper relationship with God than I’ve ever had, because I walked through the valley with Him, and I decided I trusted Him.”

We hope you enjoyed listening to ‘Heaven On My Mind’ today!

Jordan Smith’s Soul-Stirring ‘I Surrender All’ Will Give You Chills

Check out this soul-stirring rendition from Jordan Smith of the hymn ‘I Surrender All.’ This  reimagined rendition of a church classic showcases Jordan’s effortless range, and the song reminds us of the true peace that only comes from knowing Jesus. Let this beautiful music be an encouragement to you today!

‘All to Jesus I surrender, all to Him I freely give
I will ever love and trust Him, in His presence daily live
I surrender all, I surrender all
All to Thee my blessed Savior, I surrender all’

This rendition of ‘I Surrender All’ from Jordan Smith is part of his album titled The People’s Hymnal. The album was produced by Tommy Sims and Colin Linden, showcasing a dynamic collection of Gospel standards. Some of the reimagined arrangements include ‘How Great Thou Art’ and ‘Oh Happy Day.’ According to the caption on his YouTube video, this contemporary Gospel recording “spotlights Smith’s effortless vocals that are pristine yet uninhibited, as he skillfully chronicles his influences with heart and soul.”

Jordan Smith, from Harlan, Kentucky, began singing in the church choir as a child. That continued through his college education at Lee University. In 2015, Jordan gained national recognition when he took his talents to The Voice, a singing competition, and won season 9 of the show.

As for the hymn ‘I Surrender All,’ the lyrics of the song were written by Judson Van DeVenter around 1890. Van DeVenter was an accomplished musician and worked as an art teacher, and he was an active member in his church and involved in evangelistic meetings. The words of the hymn were later put to music by Winfield S. Weeden and published in 1896.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to this soulful rendition of ‘I Surrender All’ today!

This Young Man’s ‘Goodness of God’ Performance Will Touch Your Heart

This young man’s ‘Goodness of God’ performance will touch your heart. Truly! Have you ever sat down in church and, if you’re honest, slightly dreaded the idea of Children’s Worship Sunday? I’ll admit it, I have. Because I’ve raised a few kids, and I know how those early years of singing can sound a little less like harmony and a little more like holy chaos.

But every once in a while, God hushes your expectations and blows you away.

That’s exactly what happened when Mekhi McClain, a young boy dressed in his Sunday best, stood alone at the front of his church. The first few chords of CeCe Winans’ song began to play, and you could see the nerves in his eyes — that mix of fear and faith every performer knows.

Then he opened his mouth.

And heaven opened, too.

As the lyrics spilled out  “All my life You have been faithful…” his voice grew strong, clear, anointed. It wasn’t just a child singing a song. This little guy ushered the congregation into the presence of God.

People online can’t stop talking about it either. One woman wrote, “What a gift! He has been blessed with talent! Wow!” Another shared, “My niece used to sing like this in church as a child. She turned to the world. I pray this child continues in the name of Jesus.”

And that’s the prayer of every heart watching, that this young man stays close to the One who gave him the voice that silenced the room.

As one listener said, “Looking at this young man, you can see he has an anointing on his life. Praying he stays covered in the blood.”

Because sometimes God reminds us that His goodness isn’t confined to a worship band or a polished choir. Sometimes it’s a trembling voice in a child who believes the words he’s singing.

So yes, maybe next time the kids’ choir lines up in front of the church, we’ll lean in a little closer, because you never know when God might use a young heart like Mekhi to remind us all of His unshakable goodness.

Psalm 8:2 “From the lips of children and infants You have ordained praise.”

If I ever win, something might go wrong!” Rhett talked about his new single “Days That We Dreamed Of,” the title track from his latest record — a heartfelt look back at 21 years of marriage and God’s faithfulness through every season. “Everybody’s got that moment where they realize God’s been good,” he shared.
