Chilling Rendition Of ‘O Come, Emmanuel’

One young man turned in an inspiring and moving rendition of a beloved Christmas song about the birth of Jesus Christ, “O Come, Emmanuel.”

The Bible makes it clear that several were anxiously and eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Son of God, a Savior to cleanse men’s hearts of sin. So, when that child finally arrived, born to a virgin in a Bethlehem stable, it was a joyous occasion and a time for celebration. Many even traveled great distances to get a glimpse of the Christ child, bringing with them gifts for the newborn King.

In a video posted on YouTube, Simon Khorolskiy belts out the lyrics to “O Come, Emmanuel,” a tune that beautifully expresses the utter happiness and joy that followers of God likely felt on that most holy of nights.

“O Come, O come, Emmanuel
And ransom captive Israel
That mourns in lonely exile here
Until the Son of God appear”

Simon does not change much, if anything, in the song. Classics are classics for a reason, right? Instead, he uses his God-given talent to bring glory and honor to His name by delivering an epic and masterful performance of the Christmas song that is near and dear to the hearts of many.

Simon’s stunning “O Come, Emmanuel” performance is far from the only tune he’s sung. Those interested in hearing more from this immensely talented vocalist will discover dozens of other videos on his YouTube channel.

But regardless of whatever amount of fame and money that might come his way due to his incredible singing voice, Simon has one clearly stated objective and goal. He describes his music as being for “the glory of God and his son Jesus Christ.” Simon adds Jesus “gave his life for me, my songs are all for him.”

What a wonderful, stated approach and goal! Simon, with his music and voice, is looking to bring glory and honor to the one true King!

John 1:14 “And so the Word became flesh and took a place among us for a time; and we saw his glory – such glory as is given to an only son by his father – saw it to be true and full of grace.”

Good Morning Mercy’ Jason Crabb and Dylan Scott Sing Country Gospel Duet

Two incredibly talented singers gave an outstanding performance while singing about God’s unbelievable and awe-inspiring mercy and grace.

All, according to the Bible, have sinned and fallen well short of the glory of God. There is nothing that anyone can do to earn salvation. It’s simply not possible for a human being to do enough to obtain everlasting life. But because of God’s love, mercy and grace, He made a way. He sent His Son as a sacrifice, taking our place on the cross.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Jason Crabb and Dylan Scott sing “Good Morning Mercy.” Of course, as the song’s title implies, it’s about the Lord’s astounding mercy and the grace that He consistently shows to those who love and follow Him.

The tune’s opening verse states that even after we have confessed our sins and turned our lives over to Him, humans still tend to make a mess of things. Even in those instances, Christ is still at work, guiding and directing, while He works to make something beautiful out of a mess we’ve created.

But it’s the song’s chorus that really drives home the point of how fantastic and amazing God’s mercy and grace are to a bunch of sinners.

“Goodbye to the hurting
You woke me up put me on my way
Hallelujah it’s a brand new day
Good morning mercy”

Additionally, as any Christian knows, being saved is only the beginning of a walk with the Lord. He is constantly teaching, molding and refining, working to shape us into the person He wants us to be. The second verse points out the fact that Christians are not perfect. There is still learning taking place, and as this happens, Christians will trust and follow the Lord more and more. Because, as the song states, He has tomorrow, the future, in His hands.

What a powerful performance from a couple of talented individuals singing about God’s amazing mercy and life-changing grace!

Matthew 9:13 “But go and take to heart the sense of these words, ‘My desire is for mercy, not offerings: for I have come not to get the upright, but sinners.”’

‘O Holy Night’ TAYA Performs Classic Christmas Hymn

Popular and immensely talented Christian musician TAYA gave a warm, lovely and dazzling rendition of a song about the evening when the Savior entered the world, “O Holy Night.”

The Old Testament books of Isaiah and Micah told of the coming birth of Jesus. He would be the one sent by God to save man from sin and shame. It was a birth and a moment in time that many were anticipating and anxiously awaiting. So, it only makes sense that the birth that would and has ever since changed the world would be remembered as a momentous occasion, a cause for celebration from that point forward.

In a video posted on YouTube, TAYA sings one of the most beloved hymns of all time, one that captures the world-changing impact of Christ’s birth, “O Holy Night.”

In the second verse, TAYA beautifully sings how Christ’s entrance into the world radically changed everything. What was once before His birth was now no more. Thinking and customs have changed since Jesus Christ was born in a Bethlehem stable surrounded by barnyard animals.

“Truly He taught us to love one another
His law is love and His Gospel is Peace
Chains shall He break, for the slave is our brother
And in Jesus' name, all oppression shall cease”

Her rendition of the beloved song is one that is more than deserving of several listens. She sings with so much emotion, perfectly capturing the feeling of the momentous, world-changing birth that had taken place in that little town of Bethlehem to a virgin.

TAYA’s cover is one, much like any Christmas tune sung by Bing Crosby, Mariah Carey or Elvis Presley, that deserves to be in heavy rotation every Christmas season.

TAYA, the young woman, has been tremendously musically gifted. She shows off her immense vocal skills with a staggeringly beautiful cover of a beloved song about the birth of Jesus Christ and the following celebration.

Isaiah 9:6 “For to us a child has come, to us a son is given; and the government has been placed in his hands; and he has been named Wise Guide, Strong God, Father Forever, Prince of Peace.”

‘Mother To A Savior And King’ Music From Journey To Bethlehem

A beautiful song, “Mother to a Savior and King,” from the new film “Journey to Bethlehem” perfectly captures and articulates the confusion, doubt and fear that Mary must have been experiencing.

The birth of Jesus Christ was undoubtedly a world-changing situation, and it continues to be the reason for so much joy and happiness. God’s love for sinners is on full display in the story of Jesus Christ's birth. He sent His one and only Son to Earth. But it's also a story in which several central characters detail extreme faith and trust in the Lord and in His direction and guidance.

To give birth to His Son, God selected Mary, a humble and lowly virgin. The Lord sent an angel to her to deliver this all-important and world-alternating message that she would give birth to a Son. As the Bible mentions, Mary responded that she was a willing servant of God.

But despite her answer to the angel and her faithfulness, Mary naturally had to have been feeling extreme confusion, fear and anxiety. There had to have been more than several instances in which she, in her mind, questioned God’s plan.

The tune, “Mother to a Savior and King,” sung by actress Fiona Palomo, who plays Mary in the film, gives voice to Mary’s fears and worries. The song is essentially a prayer from Mary as she calls out to God, asking for His help and guidance. She also questions God, wanting to know why He chose her despite her lowly societal status.

“There’s nothing in my life I have to offer
Nothing in my blood of royalty
I am just a poor and simple virgin
I am not
A mother to a Savior and King”

Mary was given a monumental task. It’s only natural to think that Mary, on many occasions, questioned God. But God knew that Mary, as she stated, was a willing servant of the Lord. He knew her heart.

Luke 1:38 “And Mary said, ‘Behold, the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word.’ And the angel departed from her.”

A Cappella Choir Sings ‘Unchained Melody’

A choir of unbelievably talented vocalists turned in a stunning and heartfelt cover of the Righteous Brothers’ classic “Unchained Melody.”

Since the creation of sound and music, man has developed dozens and dozens of instruments. Those tools help to make beautiful and pleasant sounds that span all genres, preferences and tastes. However, as inventive as some of those tools created by man are, they will never top the original musical instrument manufactured by God himself.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a group of musicians, the OneVoice choir, put this original instrument to work, perfectly demonstrating the beauty, wonder and power of the human voice. They give an excellent and catchy rendition of the Righteous Brothers’ 1965 hit “Unchained Melody.”

The choir’s cover is simply fabulous. With their rendition, the group shows that covers do not have to change much in order to stand out and be memorable. All the lyrics and the sound remain intact and, for the most part, is completely the same as the original.

I mean, classics are classics for a reason, right? Dramatically changing the words, sounds or feel of “Unchained Melody” sounds (pun wholly intended) like a recipe for disaster. Doing so would only serve to turn off and anger their audience, something no musician, band or choir ever wants to do.

Instead, the group only changes the way in which they recreate that original sound. Instead of using instruments, the group member’s voices provide the music as well as the memorable lyrics. Their effort seemed to go over well. Not only will anyone who views the clip enjoy their performance, but those watching their cover live also seem to be totally on board with their musical choices.

At several points throughout the clip, the camera catches the audience’s response to their cover. What looks to be an entire row stands and sways their arms back and forth to the beat of the beloved song.

Ephesians 5:19 “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;”

ITS ALL ABOUT JESUS

SONG BY ELAINE TAYLORBROWN

The Obedient Christian

This is a song that simply came into my head one day when I was praying and repenting of a sin I had just done in haste. I know for sure that it was God's answer to my prayer. Over the years I've gradually came to understand more and more, the meaning of the wonderful words.

Hosanna to the Risen Lord (Music Video) - Heath Bewley

"Hosanna to the Risen Lord" is a catchy song giving praise to God that Jesus is risen, having died for the sins of the world. Jesus gave his life to forgive people for their sins, if they put their faith in him. He was resurrected, within three days.

The Texas Tenors Sing ‘Amazing Grace’ At Larry’s Country Diner

A trio of incredibly talented vocalists gave a touching and moving cover of the most beloved and well-known hymn of all time, “Amazing Grace.”

All are sinners and have fallen well short of the glory of God. But despite this fact of man’s sinful and fallen nature, God showed a tremendous amount of love, mercy and pity on us when He sent His one and only Son to die on the cross. If not for that act of grace and love, none would have a chance at everlasting life. All would have been lost and without hope.

In a clip posted on YouTube, The Texas Tenors sing about the Lord’s amazing and life-giving gift of grace. While it’s a tune everyone is familiar with, the lyrics are still as touching and true as ever. His love, mercy and grace will never stop being astounding, confounding and amazing!

“Amazing grace how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I’m found
Was blind but now I see”

While the memorable lyrics remain the same, the music accompanying the singing sounds different slightly from the original. Normally, from the opening notes of the song, before a word is sung, everyone within earshot recognizes “Amazing Grace.” But that’s not the case here. It’s not until one of the members of The Texas Tenors begins belting out the lyrics that the tune becomes familiar.

In addition to changing up the music a little, the guys also sang the song oddly in spots. They unexpectedly sing some lines with a different rhythm and cadence than the original. The change is nothing drastic that alters the meaning or feeling of the classic song in any way. It's something slight that helps to differentiate their version from the hundreds of thousands of other times “Amazing Grace” has been performed.

“Amazing Grace” is without question the most well-known and widely recognized hymn of all time. One look at or listen to the song’s lyrics, and it’s clear why. All are sinners, and no one deserves the grace the Lord generously gives to all who ask for forgiveness.

Ephesians 2:8 “Because by grace you have salvation through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is given by God.”

Just Like Them Horses’ Reba McEntire Sings For Lost Loved Ones

Country music legend Reba McEntire gave a stunning and moving performance of “Just Like Horses,” a tear-jerking tune about losing a loved one.

Unfortunately, death and loss are a part of life, something that everyone goes through at one time or another. Losing a loved one is always a painful experience. It doesn’t matter what the circumstances surrounding the loss were - an expected passing or not - it will and does hurt regardless.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Reba McEntire perfectly and beautifully captures the heartbreaking process of being near a loved one’s side as they take their final breaths. The lyrics are so well-written and wonderfully delivered that it’s hard to keep from shedding a tear or two or three while listening.

“She held his hand, he took one last breath
Then she walked out to the front porch step
Stared at the sky, tears on her face
And she swore she could hear him say
If you love me, don’t be afraid”

It’s likely that most people have had a loved one who has endured suffering during their last days on Earth. It pains everyone to watch the individual struggle and hurt as they fight to stay alive. But it stings even more to know that they have passed, even if it means they are no longer suffering.

Thankfully, the Lord provides comfort, healing and strength during these painful and grief-stricken periods in life. Even in the valley of the shadow of death, He is still the same God. He remains on the throne, is still at work and never leaves nor forsakes us.

Also, while it may not lessen the pain now, we can rest assured that if the person who passed was a follower of Christ, there will be a reunion with them in heaven one day. Praise God because death is not the end!

Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Come to Jesus Live and dont die!

sin leads to death. be forgiven in Jesus Christ!
