Your will be done

On the evening before Good Friday in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus reached both the lowest and the highest points of His mission. He had been betrayed by one disciple, denied by another and abandoned by the rest. In the next few hours, He would face the prospect of an agonising death on a cross which He could have escaped because He had done nothing wrong but ... He accepted that this was the only way to save us and that it was in obedience to His Father's will that He would give up His life in this way.

Everlasting Arms

In a world where chaos seems to reign, we look for a steadying hand to guide us and reassure us. The Bible is full of words of comfort that remind us of His power on our behalf. This song is based on a much-loved verse from Deuteronomy 33 which tells us that God Himself is our refuge and His everlasting arms will be under us and holding us through every situation that we face in life and in death. I hope it's an encouragement to you to trust Him!

Joy Gardner Beautiful 'Holy Ground' Performance Lyric Video

Singer Joy Gardner turned in a beautiful performance of the hymn “Holy Ground” in a lyric video.

None of us could ever do anything to obtain forgiveness and earn salvation. If that were the case, there would be no hope for anyone, and all would be condemned to live out their days in their sin and shame. Eternal life would not be possible, so a disastrous fate would await all after their time on Earth expired.

But God made a way, sending His one and only Son to Earth. Jesus Christ willingly went to the cross, bleeding and then enduring a horrible and agonizing death. Days later, Christ would arise, roll the stone away and walk out of the grave.

He went through all of that for our sake. He bled and died so that we might have forgiveness and experience eternal life with Him. Forgiveness, love and hope are gifts freely offered to all. All one must do is confess with their mouth and believe in their hearts that Jesus Christ is Lord.

What a wonderful, magnificent and holy God!

In a clip posted on YouTube, Joy sings about God's awe-inspiring and holy nature. It’s a beautiful and moving performance of a wonderfully written tune, with lyrics celebrating and praising God and His son, Jesus Christ.

The song's chorus is beautiful.

“We are standing on holy ground

And I know that there are angels all around

Let us praise Jesus now

We are standing in His presence on holy ground”

In addition to singing about God’s awesome and mighty love, the lyrics state that if there is a need in your life, reach out for Him and it will be met.

Joy is not the only person who displays their musical talents in the video. At various points in the nearly five-minute video, the audience joins in on the performance, standing up and lending their voices to the lovely song.

Acts 7:33 “And the Lord said, ‘Take off the shoes from your feet, for the place where you are is holy.”

For King + Country and Amy Grant Team up for a Stunning Live Performance of 'Lead Me On'

Christian artists For King + Country join Amy Grant to sing her song, “Lead Me On,” which is just one of the uplifting songs from the soundtrack for the movie Unsung Hero. And this is a live performance you don’t want to miss!

Beloved Christian singer Amy Grant has enjoyed a music career spanning over 40 decades. And her inspiring song “Lead Me On” dates all the way back to 1989!

“Lead me on, lead me on

The awaited deliverance

Comforts the seeking, lead on”

The encouraging lyrics of “Lead Me On” remind us that God has the power to free us from any bondage, no matter how strong it may seem. And now, the tune is getting a new life with its incorporation into the soundtrack for the faith-based film Unsung Hero.

People often say certain things run in the family. And for the Smallbone family, that “thing” is music.

Joel and Luke Smallbone are the brothers who make up the duo For King + Country. But their sister, Rebecca St. James, is also a talented and famous Christian Artist. Clearly, God blessed this family with a special calling. And the movie Unsung Hero tells the unbelievable true story of the Smallbone family, who relied on faith as they struggled to answer that calling.

Joel Smallbone not only stars in the movie (playing the role of his father), he also co-wrote the film and made his directorial debut by directing it. And not surprisingly, a massive part of bringing this story to life involves music. So, For King & Country took special care in creating an album called “The Inspired By Soundtrack” to accompany the movie.

One of the tracks from the album is Amy Grant’s “Lead Me On.” In advance of the film’s and album’s release on April 26, 2024, For King + Country teamed up with Amy Grant for an incredible live performance of the song.

Even though “Lead Me On” originated more than 30 years ago, it sounds just as good today! The 2024 refresh stays true to the original version yet blends so nicely with the more contemporary incorporation of For King + Country.

What a long way the Smallbone family has come. And we pray the stunning performance of “Lead On Me” by Amy Grant and For King + Country blesses your day. And don’t forget to check out the movie Unsung Hero!

Psalm 37:4-6 “Delight yourself also in the LORD: and he shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your judgment as the noonday.”

Guy Penrod's Stirring Live Performance of 'Then Came The Morning'

Incredibly talented gospel music singer Guy Penrod turned in a stirring live performance of “Then Came the Morning.”

Without Jesus Christ, no one would have even the slightest glimmer of hope. Everyone on Earth would be condemned and forced to spend their days lost in their sin and shame. All would be destined and looking at spending eternity in hell.

But because God has an indescribable amount of love for humanity and saw the absolute mess that humans had made, He sent His one and only Son. Jesus Christ, sent to a virgin, would grow up and eventually become a willing sacrifice, laying down His life for you and me. He endured a horrible, agonizing and humiliating death and later rose again so that you and I might not be lost.

Because of Jesus Christ, we can be forgiven, have our sins wiped away and one day experience everlasting life. That’s a debt we’ll never be able to repay. It’s a gift we haven’t done and will never do anything to be worthy of it.

In the clip, Guy brings the house down with his powerful performance of “Then Came the Morning.” The tune’s lyrics perfectly capture the doom and gloom that followers of Jesus had to be feeling immediately following His death on Calvary.

But that is not the end of the story. Praise God!

As the song title indicates, then came the morning. The stone had been rolled away, and Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world, was alive.

The chorus mentions how dread and despair soon turned into hope and joy.

“Then came the morning

Night turned into day

The stone was rolled away

Hope rose with the dawn”

Because of Christ’s sacrifice, while we were still sinners, we now have hope. That hope, love and forgiveness are still freely available and offered to all.

Romans 5:8 “But God has made clear his love to us, in that, when we were still sinners, Christ gave his life for us.”

We The Kingdom Lyric Video For Upbeat Tune 'Church Music'

In this artistic music video, We the Kingdom sings the song, ‘Church Music.’

The music video has a catchy and fun vibe to it. You can see cartoonish images and videos of the band, with lyrics in fun fonts going across the screen at different times. The video makes you want to get up and dance with the band.

We the Kingdom is a contemporary Christian band made up of Ed Cash, his brother, Scott Cash, his son, Martin Cash, and a family friend, Andrew Bergthold. Ed’s daughter, Franni, is taking a break from the band. The name We the Kingdom comes from the idea that “the kingdom of God is here among us,” which is an amazing sentiment and is perfect for a worship band.

The band’s break-out single, ‘Holy Water,’ came out in 2019, and their first album with the same name came out in 2020.

The song, ‘Church Music,’ begins with the following lyrics,

“I always wondered why Sunday morning

Didn’t feel like Saturday night

What if all God’s people came locked and loaded

With joy jumping in their eyes”

The song is about how music found in the church can be amazing. That you can use instruments such as drums, guitars, bass, and tambourines. It is a fun approach to the idea that worship music can be just as wonderful and upbeat as other types of music as long as Jesus is at the center of it.

Fast-paced fun music can be a great way to worship Jesus. Music like this has lyrics that are easy to remember and allows us to worship God with our church brothers and sisters.

“All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name. For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.” - Psalms 86:9-10
