Colton Dixon Inspires with Uplifting 'Rest of My Life' Official Music Video

The incredibly talented and gifted Christian musician Colton Dixon delivers an inspiring and uplifting performance of “Rest of My Life” in the song’s official music video.

The love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ can and will transform lives. He can take the worst, most lost sinner and mend their lives, making them whole and a new creation. Your life will never be the same after encountering His love, forgiveness, mercy and grace.

Many in society desperately need to hear this life-changing message of Jesus Christ. People are hurting and struggling, calling out for any sign of hope and help. He can do all of that and so much more. Christ can interject hope and life into a situation that once appeared without hope. He can make a path forward where there was no way.

In his song “Rest of My Life,” Colton sings about how encountering Jesus Christ and His love and forgiveness changed him forever. He was no longer lost, walking around the world with a blindfold, stumbling around in the dark and foolishly searching for a purpose. Christ came into his life and completely changed him.

The song’s beautiful lyrics mention how Christ came in and opened his eyes, making his purpose in life more straightforward. Now, instead of placing all his hope and faith elsewhere, the former American Idol contestant is trusting the Lord.

“See it clearer in the mirror; eyes are open

‘Cause it’s in Him that I’m placing all my hope in

Yeah, You loved me first

Now my universe is and always be yours”

Every follower of Christ has been in that same position at one time. We all went about our lives, trying to do things our way until we reached a point where we had made such a monumental mess. At that point, after calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, He came in and made all the difference, changing our lives forever.

2 Corinthians 5:17 “So if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

Anne Wilson and Lainey Wilson Uplifting 'Praying Woman' Duet

Two incredibly gifted and talented musicians, Anne Wilson and Lainey Wilson, gave an uplifting and awe-inspiring duet performance of their song “Praying Woman.”

Communication is an essential component of any and every relationship. It doesn’t matter if the relationship is one with your spouse, son, daughter, father, mother or the friendly neighborhood mailman; communication is vital. Communication is basically the glue that keeps those and all relationships together.

Christians should be the first people to recognize communication's power and importance. Prayer is communication with God, the Creator of the Universe. Without daily communication with Him, there is no personal relationship.

Prayer and communicating with the Lord are powerful, and having someone reach out to the Lord on your behalf is invaluable. Prayer can move mountains and make a way forward in a once-hopeless situation. That’s the power of prayer.

In their song “Praying Woman,” Anne and Lainey sing how prayer can improve and change situations and circumstances. Someone who is a faithful and prayerful follower of Christ, reaching out to Him even in dire instances, will bring about the Lord’s guidance and direction. Situations can and will change simply because of one person’s faithfulness and prayers.

The tune’s lyrics are beautifully written as they paint a picture of a faithful woman who consistently and constantly reaches out to the Lord Almighty on behalf of her family. As the song points out, while it may not appear that she is doing much, she is actually moving mountains.

“That’s the power, the power

Of two folded hands, bowed head, bendin’ knees

When she whispers, ‘Dear Jesus’

Heaven can hear it”

Anne and Lainey’s duet is not the flashiest performance in the world. But both young women showcase their immense musical talents while singing a moving and truth-filled tune about the importance and need of prayer.

Matthew 6:6 “But when you make your prayer, go into your private room, and shutting the door, say a prayer to your Father in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will give you your reward.”

Steven Curtis Chapman Highlights God's Faithfulness in 'Do It Again' Lyric Video

Legendary Christian musician Steven Curtis Chapman highlights God’s faithfulness in the lyric video for his new song “Do It Again.”

Life can often be a struggle, with many people scratching and crawling with everything they’ve got to make it through another day. Everyone knows, understands and has likely experienced these valleys. These instances will push you to the edge and test and stretch your faith.

While in the middle of such an intense, overwhelming and unbearable period, many people will miss the signs of God’s faithfulness and love. That is entirely understandable to do so. We’re all human, and that situation consumes most of our thinking and focus when going through a crisis.

However, Steven Curtis Chapman’s song “Do It Again” may help us gain a new and different perspective. Those beautiful lyrics help remind followers of Christ that despite everything that may be going on in life, all that we may be dealing with and enduring, God provides signs of His continued faithfulness and love.

The song’s chorus points out a couple of things that most people overlook, which could easily be the Lord indicating that He will “do it again,” remaining faithfully by our side.

“Maybe every morning when the sun breaks through

God’s saying, ‘I’ll do it again’

Maybe every rising of a brand-new moon

God says, ‘I’ll do it again’”

The lyrics also point out the ocean’s powerful and majestic waves. Perhaps, Steven sings, those waves are a sign that God is not done and is still working and in control.

Life can be challenging and painful, that is for sure. Anyone who has been alive for any significant amount of time will entirely and wholeheartedly agree with that statement. But maybe, even in the middle of our terrifying ordeal, God provides signs that He is still working and in control. It’s simply a matter of perspective and being able to stop, step back and look at the entire picture.

God’s Word says that He will never leave nor forsake us. He will remain right by our side through everything, through all of it. He is faithful and will do it again.

Hebrews 10:23 “Let us keep the witness of our hope strong and unshaking, for he is true who has given his word.”

As the music swelled, the room was filled with a palpable sense of the divine, drawing everyone into a collective expression of adoration.

Matt's performance began with poignant lyrics that spoke to the depths of human longing and the pursuit of spiritual truth:

My heart's still reaching for
Something deeper, something more’

Psalm 96:1-2 "Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day."

Rebecca St. James And Choir's Beautiful 'This Is Amazing Grace' Performance

Rebecca St. James, one of the biggest and most recognizable names in Christian music, was joined by a church choir for a beautiful performance of “This is Amazing Grace.”

Through their arrogance and willful disobedience, humans have made a total mess of things. Sin has wrecked and marred everything that it has ever encountered. Sin has brought about death, disease and strained and ruined relationships.

As a result of sin, the world is lost and fallen, filled with people hurting and struggling. In desperation and pain, many people cry out, looking for even the tiniest sign or amount of hope. They are looking for someone to bring about healing and comfort. Thankfully, there is one that can do all of that and so much more.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Rebecca and the massive choir at First Baptist Dallas church in Dallas, Texas, sang about the one who can and will make those changes. As one would expect, it’s a stunning performance.

The lyrics about Christ’s love and mighty power are moving and filled with truth. While simple, the song’s opening verse perfectly captures Christ's awe-inspiring love and power.

“Who breaks the power of sin and darkness?

Whose love is mighty and so much stronger?

The King of glory, the King above all kings”

No one would have a chance without Christ and His willing sacrifice on the cross. Everyone would be condemned to live out their days on Earth, lost in their sin and shame. But He paid the ultimate price and fulfilled a debt that only He could have filled.

Christ can bring hope and life into a situation where there was none. He can move mountains and make a way. He can clean even the worst sinner, washing away the sins as if they never happened.

Praise His holy name!

Romans 5:8 “But God has made clear his love to us, in that, when we were still sinners, Christ gave his life for us.”

A Country Artist or Worship Leader?

In this video, country artist Jackson Michelson shares his journey from playing music in church to becoming a successful country musician. He emphasizes his aversion to labeling art, appreciating artists who embrace diverse styles. Michelson's musical roots are in church, but his career took an unexpected turn when he started writing love songs for his wife. After recording these songs in a Vancouver studio, he received unexpected feedback: people loved his "country music," a genre he hadn't intentionally pursued. Local country radio stations picked up his songs, leading to a rapid rise in popularity with extensive touring and airplay, including on Sirius XM's The Highway. Despite his growing fame, Michelson remains true to his roots as a storyteller, writing about personal experiences and other people's lives. He reflects on the intersection of secular and sacred music, expressing his belief in the power of storytelling in both contexts. For Michelson, leading people through stories and worship is a unified experience, whether he's singing about life or leading worship. He embraces the idea of being in the world but not of it, and finds joy in singing to the "King of Kings," illustrating his seamless transition between country music and worship. Jeremy Camp's Powerful 'These Days' Live Performance Video

The super talented and incredibly popular Christian musician Jeremy Camp has released the official live performance video for his hit song “These Days.”

The world is a fallen place filled with lost and hurting people looking for even the tiniest glimmer of hope. They are crying out for something, anything, that will help alleviate their pain and suffering. Many have searched and searched for a solution but have come up empty every time.

Christians are charged with reaching these lost and broken people. We are tasked with going forth into all the nations and making disciples for Him. Jesus Christ’s message of love, mercy and the forgiveness of sins is one that the world needs to hear.

Christ’s message is too important to conceal and keep to ourselves, no matter the obstacles or forces that may sometimes oppose Christians. That’s one of the messages someone could take away from Jeremy’s upbeat and catchy song “These Days.” It’s an uplifting and encouraging tune for those who may have run into things trying to stop or slow us down from witnessing to someone about Christ.

In the official live performance video, Jeremy gives a fantastic, energetic rendition of his tune about being a light in a lost and broken world.

“I know we were born to shine bright

In a dark world that needed some light

Don’t have to be afraid

Maybe we were made for these days”

In the song, Jeremy also sings how God does not make mistakes. We were all made and placed on Earth for a reason. God has a role and a job for everyone to step into and do. All people have worth and matter greatly to the Creator of the universe.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Stunning A Cappella Rendition of 'Goodness Of God' by Large Ensemble

A large ensemble turned in a stunning a cappella rendition of the beloved praise and worship tune, “Goodness of God.”

Contemporary Christian music has been and still is extremely popular in many churches. Churchgoers, while it does depend on the denomination to an extent, are much more likely to hear those songs than hymns during Sunday morning services. Some houses of worship have even wholly abandoned the old hymns in favor of the more modern Christian music songs.

Regardless of how one feels about this trend, one contemporary Christian song has become extremely popular. The song “Goodness of God” has seemingly been covered by every well-known Christian music artist, and for good reason. It’s a beautifully written song about the Lord’s unfailing love, endless mercy, faithfulness and forgiveness.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a massive group of people combined their musical gifts and abilities for a stunning a cappella rendition of the classic song. It’s a cover that you’ll want to listen to repeatedly.

While simple, the song’s chorus is still incredibly powerful and moving.

“’Cause all my life, You have been faithful

And all my life, You have been so, so good

With every breath that I am able

Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God”

One would think that with such a large group, it wouldn’t work and would create an unpleasant sound of people singing against and trying to outdo one another. Fortunately, that is not the case here. All the voices blend beautifully together, creating a most pleasant and enjoyable sound as they praise and worship the Lord.

As the song mentions, God has been so undeservedly good to us. He meets our needs and then some, even when we continually take those blessings for granted. He is more than worthy of all our praise and worship!
